I love how sweet Ömer is in this episode (and the absence of Fikret!). 8:00 He’s running, but he can’t stop thinking about Defne’s worried face and conversation with Nihan. I wish Defne would stop lying. He is her future husband, and it HURTS when someone you love wont let you in. I understand she doesn’t want Ömer’s financial support, but she can be truthful and just decline his money. The lying is unnecessary. It’s hurting him for no reason.
Yes, she kinda has developed a habit of lying and became a habitual liar. Every time she has a problem, she lies or hides the truth from him. Ok, the writers want to prolong the show, but why at this cost. Like they think lying in relationship is not a big deal🤦♀️

Defne is an amazing woman she can carry on all her problems I like her attitude and her simplicity even though she a has a rich boyfriend she doesn’t rely on him she don’t want Omer to get involved in her financial problems.,

Iso is the one who goes after a vacant house and Defne has to try to come up with money to buy that house. They lived for years on her income. They continue to do so even now.

Grandma started acting like a teenager in love with her make-up. I really hoped she would move to Manisa and stay there. She was just as much of a manipulator as Hulusi and Neriman. She played her character well, but her presence, like that of Neriman and Koray, was sometimes too much. Although Neriman was the one who was ultimately able to tell Ömer how the game had started and why she had chosen Defne.
Isn’t it simple to understand why she doesnt tell him?! She specifically told her family & friend why she doesn't want to onvolve Omer in her problems especially when its related to money. No. In a committed relationship, you share everything, ask for help if you can’t solve the problems yourself, and expect support from your partner. You don’t hide everything for no good reason! When Omer and Iso are discussing the purchase of Defne’s house, Omer explains why and how he wants to do it so Defne won’t be upset, but after his really good and compassionate explanation, all Iso gets out of it is “You want to be in control.” Why is THAT all that he got out of Omer’s plan? Why is it so difficult to see it as a sign of Omer’s love for Defne and her family and an act that will keep her, her Grandmother, sister, brother and sister-in-law safe with a roof over their heads? There was nothing in Omer’s attitude that said he wanted to have control over their lives! They have no other way, do they want to live on the streets? Come on, pride is a stupid thing if it leads them into a dire situation. It drives me crazy-first, that people would choose destitution rather than help from someone in a position to help, and second, that everything the more wealthy partner says or does is only perceived as a way to gain the upper hand or control and not an act of love. Sure, many people in positions of power and wealth might be so mercenary, but hasn’t Omer proved himself yet to Defne and her family as a kind man?

Both Deniz & Sude are having some kind of “feelings” involving each other. Deniz said in previous episode “Why do I want to hear her voice?” Sude’s face showed some wonderment after Deniz touched her hands & moved away to answer a call. Also Deniz seems to be avoiding to get physical with his woman ( the magazine lady who was told a fake story regarding Vanni coming & was the cause of Deniz withdrawal from sponsoring Fikret’s show & she having paid also by Tramba to have Enzo in her show.
1:56 This book, (actually every book Ömer reads) is very significant to the series, including Pride & Prejudice, and Season 2 will reveal Insomnia and Albertine Gone. All these books really portray parts of their lives. 💕

On the one hand, I understand Defne's point of view, why she doesn't want to involve Omer in their financial problem, it's partly understandable that she doesn't want to ask him for help, but it's completely unacceptable that she hides from him that her family is in trouble, excludes Omer. She should have told him, they could have discussed it and together they would have figured out what to do. Of course, she doesn't want to depend on Omer, but if he can help her family, then Defne could accept help, especially from her fiancé! From whom, if not from him?! Omer is right in that if they are a couple and they are getting ready to get married, there are two of them, then one of their problems is the other's problem, there is no such thing as I have a problem and you have a problem in a relationship. That completely meaningless scene when you love someone, one moment you feel good about them, the next you get a phone call with bad news, you run away and tell your loved one that you don't have to worry about me. How to tell your partner not to worry when he sees something is wrong. What is Defne doing with this, the other will worry even more... This is not good in a relationship. Although Omer's behavior is a bit contradictory, he expects Defne to tell her what's wrong, but in later episodes he does the same when he doesn't tell Defne what's wrong, and Defne keeps worrying about him.
There is not enough trust in this relationship. I'm trying my hardest to give Defne some grace, bearing in mind that she is in experience where adult relationships are concerned and afraid of being judged. The constant lying and secrecy without thinking are unnecessary in many cases, though, which makes things so much worse 😥
In later episodes Defne explains why she is afraid for Omer to help her financially, she said she is afraid she will become dependent on him and his money and not be able to take care of herself/family like she always has

I'm sorry.....are we watching the same show?.....Defne does not impose?......how did the issue of the fekrik come up?.....because she badged him to answer.....and we know that she loves to keep secrets......but this also impacted Omer too.
This house is not a problem for Defne alone, but also for the 4 other residents of that house. If, with the exception of Nihan, they do not want Omer to know about the eviction, then this must be taken into account. Omer does not need to know everything about Turkan, Serdar, Nihan or Esra except what Defne wants to tell him. There is such a thing as respect and protection of personal privacy and Omer will soon ignore this by taking action himself. It also touches on their personal pride, although this is lacking in several of Defne's family members. They assume that Defne will provide a solution so that they can move on with their lives.
