For being a smaller city than Columbus, I don’t understand how Indianapolis has a way more busy airport than Columbus. I thought I’d ask someone that might know a bit about this stuff since they travel a lot, why are airports like IND, CVG, CLT, and SDF so much more busy? All but one of these cities is smaller than us so I just have a hard time understanding, as an aviation lover it makes me jealous
I always feel like my city doesn’t get what it deserves
Looking at the actual statistics, except for CLT we don’t get that fewer passengers, so I guess it’s an illusion
I still don’t understand how CLT gets 33 mil passengers for being not that much bigger than Columbus though
I know they’re an American hub, but like, why them in particular?
In the 80s I used to collect airline printed timetables and other brochures and was always impressed by the huge network of these airlines.
It's a shame this Boeing 717 wasn't very successful.
More of a McDonnell Douglas product (MD-95) 717 is just the Boeing name.
Quick question I’ve never flown the 717 only the 757 ,320,321,737 and yeah is it loud by the engine there in row 27?
It's too bad the sky mag was discontinued. Smart phones made them about as useful as in-seat handsets that seemed to cost about $100/minute to talk on.
No it was because of Covid that they discontinued, because of all the passengers touching them
Flying over the two states with the worst roads ever!
It is amazing how airlines treat their customers on flights of different times! The HA flight you took from OGG to HNL, passengers were offered HA special juice but also could buy cocktails and their flight was much shorter than this one. I was on a flight of similar length to this one and was offered full beverage service and a selection of finger sandwiches along with cheese and tomatoes and pickles so when I know that service can be made available to passengers on short flights it sort of torques my shorts airlines don't! Thanks again!
