My wife has flown on Allegiant's A320 several times from Sanford, FL to Harrisburg, PA and return. No complaints. Plane was always clean, comfortable and very nice crew members. Saved money as compared to other carriers. What's not to like!
The model airplane hanging from the ceiling in St. Petersburg Airport is a replica of a Benoist Type XIV, which was operated by The St. Petersburg-Tampa Airboat Line and flown by Tony Janus from St. Petersburg to Tampa on Jan. 1, 1914 making it the first ever commercial airline flight.
I am very impressed with your review. Though I have never flown Allegiant, I know people who have and they were not very complimentary of them but what you have shown today seems like they have improved over the years and deserve a chance to prove themselves! Thanks! Have a great day!
Loved the video! Speaking of upgrades, did you hear United actually made changes to the middle seat? They’ve finally realized it’s the heart of the plane and gave it some love. Can't wait for your "luxury" middle seat tour! 😂✈
@Global Aviation & Travel the boeing 737 is expected in august. pie-avl will be operate by that aircraft. srq-avl will be operated by the airbus a320 and a319
I love that they sell Johnnie Walker Blue! I wonder how much of that they sell…..at $34.99. They are the only US carrier that serves Blue. British Airways and Emirates serves it in first class on overseas flights.
Allegiant is a nice niche airline, but I'm concerned that they're getting away from what's worked for them: 1. Instead of used Airbuses, they're now acquiring new Boeing MAX jets. 2. They plan to launch a few new routes out of MCO, rather than SFB.
Like you said base fare $38 + $60 for a checked or carry on bag + $25 for a seat and $4 for a soda TOTAL: 127.00. Delta, United Southwest & American $250.00. WHATS THE PROBLEM FLYING ALLEGIANT. You saved $123.00. Why does everyone complain about these fees, good grief. Come on America trying thinking just a little bit, its okay
Even though after all the fees there still much cheaper than Southwest, United, American and Delta which just wrap the $4 soda in a higher fare, which in reality is probably $9 for a soda. Go ahead and pay $200 more on Southwest, United, American and Delta. Let me know how that works out for you

Great airline for retirees and seniors who want to visit family up north.

Nothing luxury about a middle seat 💀
It's awesome and so private now. I couldn't believe my eyes either.
