I friggin love the little wood dudes, they're just adorable in all the right ways. Like I really really REALLY want MH to collab with wild hearts just so we can get a little ball dude skin for our cats lol
Warning and caution. There's a lot of issues going on with the PC and x box versions. Before you buy I'd wait a couple of days for patching just to be safe or make sure you buy it where you can refund if it doesn't work on your system. (Even with end systems are having some big issues.) Hope this helps.
Listen to this man! Don’t give up on this game now give it a week or 2 then if it doesn’t get an update or at least acknowledge by the devs of the issue, then start worrying about the future of this game

Yeah I think not falling for fomo and see how willing they are to fix things is just the best option. They want to charge a super premium price. I expect premium support. Lol
I'm really starting to like this and may pick it up. Like I said, I'm trying to get into MH Rise but I'm really overwhelmed. There's just so much to manage imo. I like simple mechanics. This doesn't seem to be as deep as MHR. Maybe I just need to put my big boy pants on. Any-hoo, your videos and tutorials are very well appreciated. 🙂
This one seems alot easier and explains basic thing. I tried MHR and it just has 20 tutorial text boxes in my face and then said go off. It doesn't even teach you how to use your weapon to get strated or even get to a point to feel confident enough to go off by yourself
Hey if anyone can help me out with this question, Rurikhan's armor (the torso) is closed off at the mouth. The game gives you an option at the start to have the collar open or closed, does anyone know how to alter the appearance of the torso? The same way you can alter the different styles of the headgear.
16:43 this is a bit incorrect as there is a way to stack them beyond three, but also take a shot everytime you read Karakuri... I dare you. First you need to build a Karakuri off to the side of the stack you want to extend build a karakuri ontop of this new stack, get on the new stack then stack the rest ontop of the stack you want to extend, it isn't very practical however to extend it beyond 7, but you can use it to build giant platforms so you can say, set up a camp in the sky so you can quickly access vast areas of certain maps, as Karakuri can extend a theoretically unlimited ammount of times via horizontal stacking as every horizontal stack allows for 3 more Karakuri to be placed ontop of it, this is also why 7 is the practical limit to the ammount of times you can stack karakuri vertically as the game counts the 4th Karakuri in the pillar as a in-air horizontal placement not a vertical one but it still uses the collision detection of the vertical stack allowing you to shave the two on the side off and horizontal placements that are in the air allow for a stack of 3 ontop of them. Also you can place Dragon Karakuri ontop of Basic Karakuri, and both remain after hunts, Dragon Karakuri rebuild themselves when destroyed, while basic need to be manually rebuild, the 3rd type of Karakuri, called Fusion Karakuri are combinations of Basic Karakuri, these do not persist between visits to the hunting ground and will decay overtime, some like the Shield will decay almoat instantly while the Wall will last for several minutes longer then needed, these are big parts of your offensive and defensive capabilities being capable of out right toppling over large Kemono, bringing a flying one crashing to the ground or even sending them flying through the air before landing helpless on their side. Needless to say Karakuri are super important and it will serve you will to go into a hunting are in advance and prepare some almost complete Fusion Karakuri (as you unlock them), set up networks of tranport focused Dragon Karakuri and use Basic Karakuri to open up or make paths through the map, and learning all the little hacks you can do with them also helps, if your experienced with Monster Hunter or Dauntless and go in ignoring the Karakuri you will almost certainly set yourself up for failure.
One big question that I have, that I haven't seen answered anywhere yet, can you change the button icons on PC? I'd prefer to see the PS button icons while playing on PC.
for the no-lifers I only started playing clsoe to the sunbreak release nearly a year after initial release. I've beat all the main quests on switch xbox one and pc at this point. if you think that's a newb you are unwell. MH has one of the most cancerous communities ever, clearly. Plus, I couldnt get into MH World because I tried to play it retroactively and the lack of wirebug made combat feel painfully slow and gimped and the hub area is so awful and the graphics try too hard for realism which didn't work for me. Just didn't like it.
I waited to buy this and Wo Long because i'd been saving up for Hogwarts legacy, Star Wars Survivor and Dead Island 2. That time has passed are both Wild Hearts and Wo Long actually worth it on PS5? I mean it looks really good on this video and helpful tips too. Wild Hearts has dropped in price a the moment where I am to £34. Reason why I ask is because I decided not to get Gollum after how bad it looks so stuck on whether to buy them or just wait for Spiderman 2 and get the three together lol.
Maybe its just me but the fights feel real shit sometimes like your mid way through an attack from what should be a good punish window and the monster recovers and attacks and cancels your attack instantly
It does run like absolute ass. I have played the trial and I have had horrible stutters and frame drops, game also looks horrible visually at the moment. I have an RX 6950 XT, an i9 10900K and 32GB RAM. It's freaking unoptimized.
The game will claim to be running at 50+ fps, but there's significant frame loss and it appears closer to 24fps. It's not unplayable, but this video doesn't seem to have any of the issues PC suffers from currently. The PC version is currently like comparing the Switch Monster Hunter Rise and its stuttery 30fps to the PC's improved frame rates. It's just comparatively worse.
Yup On PC I tried it and same anytime I went outside of camp On Xbox it seems to run just fine tho, so try switching platform if you can My guess is this game isn't exactly optimized too well so it needs a pretty high end system
I saw this vid, was going to get the game.... reviews are already mostly negative (42% positive). It's hard to justify the cost when the reviews are coming in so bad. They seem to all be performance issues with all rigs are similar to mine..
from my limited trial testing it seems like capturing different tsukumo really just gives you cogs for upgrading and different cosmetic options for the little guys
Thanks for this! The game just came on gamepass and being a MH fan I wanted to give it a try. There's a LOT to digest at first but now I'm a little less overwhelmed. 😅
I want to propose a game like this where you "hunt" these animals to take them to a sanctuary and save them. I just feel like a pos murdering random animals for no reason.
Lmao. What do you mean no reason. The reason is to assert your dominance on the environment and it’s creatures. It is your purpose to pillage and subjugate for your own advancement. DUH
But... There is a reason Usually it's something to do with protecting the general populace and civilization from getting, well, eaten(or killed in some other way) As only a trial is out for wild hearts, idk the story further than that, but as far as mh goes, the monsters you hunt are either threatening humans or behaving in ways they shouldn't due to some really powerful monster disturbing the ecosystem as a whole E.g. in mhrise, monsters are acting extra aggressive and attacking the village due to the influence of narwa and ibushi, and in sunbreak a similar thing is happening, just for different reasons, with monsters even going outside their usual habitat and becoming invasive species. I'd bet in wild hearts there's a similar theme, with the kemono (from my limited demo knowledge) clashing over territory fiercely and sometimes threatening whole villages in the process (the kingtusk you hunt in said demo being a perfect example) For gameplay reasons, of course you can hunt them however much and whenever you want or need, but lore wise(in mh at least) you're saving humans from destruction or even restoring balance to the ecosystem
This looks so much better than monster hunter, now I’m waiting for the downfall of monster hunter, and the rise of wild hearts. Hopefully EA keeps this game up
I completely disagree, I don't have this tribalistic mindset where if another game does well the other needs to fall down a peg, I am simply going to enjoy both of them, instead of advocating for either of these games to die out.
This game looks terrible compared to mhw even rise looks better. This game is a lot of fun but the optimization is terrible it has a long way to go before this can put a dent in monster hunter it's decent competition. Minus the drying rack bit, this is all stuff the game teaches you in the first hour or two of gameplay.
If you stack 3 boxes/crates and 2 next to it you can climb the 2 stack then craft 2-3 more boxes/crates onto the previous 3 stack
