My mom was never in my life enough to teach me things. My grandma has always been my mother figure, I lived with her my whole life but she recently passed away so now I’m the woman of the house and this was very helpful being that I had absolutely no idea how to fold a fitted sheet. Thank you mom ❤️.
My mom passed a few years ago so when I saw this channel I started to ball my eyes out bc i may have a step mom but you really forget the importance of having a mom like this and i am so happy you could do this for kids like me
I’ve never known how to fold a fitted sheet before, I usually just roll it into a ball and stuff it in the closet, but now I know! I also didn’t know the trick of folding the corners of the top sheet to fit the bed, super cool! Thank you!
A video on how to cook in the oven would be great!! My mom never taught me and I'm a 19 yr old man with a weird fear that I'll set the place on fire if I so much as touch the oven. I'm great with the job and a pretty good cook for the most part but the oven is a mystery :( So glad you made this channel, now I have two parents teaching me things!
This channel is so great. Especially for those of us who had sick mothers, working mothers, absentee mothers and or no mothers at all I wish I had found this channel years ago. I feel like I’m learning a lot late in life but I’m glad there is someone like you and dad online helping those of us who didn’t have a motherly hand in life I have learned so much.
Thank you for doing this Channel! My mom died two years ago and my grandma has living with me and my dad and now she is geting old and i need to do house work so this videos help me so much!:)
I was cleaning up my closet a week or two ago, and folding all the clothes and bedsheets I had just stuffed on there. I found some fitted sheets spent thirty minutes trying to fold them and could not do it. Went back and properly folded those sheets, this really helped me figure it out, thank you so much!!!!
I work at a nursing home, when I was training, my trainer said “what didn’t your mother ever teach you how to make a bed?” Sarcastically, and I told her no my mother did not as my mother was never involved
Hi Liza, I'm sorry to hear that. Some people can be very insensitive :( hopefully you will find value in my videos and I can help you learn things you mother didn't. If there is anything in particular you would like me to teach you, please let me know! :) ❤️
I never thought about it before, but knowing how to fold a fitted sheet is such a mom thing to know. I love the vibe your videos have. It feels like what my mom might be like on camera, it all feels very authentic. It puts a smile on my face, I couldn't stop smiling while I was watching your video : )
thank you!! ive been trying to make my bed today and i really had trouble with my non fitted sheet, i just couldn’t make it work, now that you explained it to me and showed me how, i can do it super easy !! im really thankful you decided to help me, im deaf so my “real mom” cant communicate with me very well and prefers to let me figure it all out on my own, but sometimes i need help, and now i have you to show me these things! i really like when i can see your face as you talk so your lips help me know what you’re saying
just a little constructive criticism! i love your videos, they’re so wholesome, but i think they could be improved if you talked a little more naturally. it seems like you’re a little stiff with your voice and stuck on “teacher mode.” try talking to the camera as though you were having a regular conversation with someone, it’ll make it seem more personal. good luck!❤️
@@momhowdoi4105 I agree with Kylie. It sounds very unnatural when you are speaking like this. Just talk normally, like you are not 'teaching' but simply telling someone something :)
Looks great! Just a preference, but my mom always taught me to put the top sheet on “upside down” so the vibrant pattern is facing down. That way when you get in you see the colorful side of the sheet! And when you fold the sheet over the top of the cover you see the colorful side as well!
That is great advice Heidi! There is always many ways to do things, and I am certainly no expert, so I always welcome advice and alternative ways to do things! We can all learn together :) ❤️
This channel in amazing!! I wish I had it when I was younger. My mom died when I was young so I grew up with my dad and older brother. I never had anyone to teach me how to choose pads/tampons at the store or what the difference was between the numbers and letters in bra sizes so I had to learn it on my own. I really think your channel is going to help so many young individuals ❤️
I started the video... I am at 0:45, and I can't see the video because everything is blurry. I just started crying. Thanks for the video Mom, you and Dad are the best!!!!!
Hello I'm a soon to be new mother and I was wondering if it was alright to request a video about how to properly prepare a crib? Like should I get him a pillow? How many blankets are too many? Is it true having a blanket underneath the fitted is a good idea to avoid soiling the matress? I apologize if this is an unreasonable request!
You didn't show where to enter. Like do you go between bedsheets and bedspread? Or between bed spread and comforter? Can you please explain about what a comforter, fleece or plush used for? And how to use them? I never in my life used all these before and I have no clue the existence of any of these stuff.
Great questions! You enter between the two sheets (you sleep between the fitted sheet and top sheet) The difference between a comforter, fleece, and plush, is just which you prefer. Some are lighter material than others, so if it is cold, you will want a heavier blanket, but if it's hot you will want a light one. Neither is "right" or "wrong", it's just about preference :) hopefully that helps! ❤️
I had no idea all the excess from the flat sheet was supposed to go at the bottom and then folded like that. I thought the excess was just tucked under from all sides. Oops. Thanks for the video :)
Hey mom! How do I keep my comforters from getting all lumpy when I launder them? And I've burnt a couple in the dryer. It makes me sad cause I buy quality ones thinking I'll have them till my kids are grown up (like I see at my BF's mother's house) but to no avail.
Hi Tanja! Most comforters need to be dry cleaned, but if they are okay to machine wash, then only air dry them, the dryer isn't very nice to comforters! That should help :)
@@teafox8 it shouldn't matter which way you line the corners up, as long as they are all together. Are you making sure you're using the actual corners and not the edges? :)

@@alextaylor1805 okay nice! I would say 1) you don't want to be too far from the school. Maybe try searching "places for rent near _____" (wherever the school/city is) then, search the sites, but don't give any personal information out yet. 2) Call the apartment and ask for a tour, pricing, contracts, etc. Before making a decision. Things you'll want to consider are what you can afford, if you want a roommate or not, if you want to sign a long contract or go month to month, etc. Once you know that, find the place that matches close to your preferences and go with it! If possible I would definitely try to visit first to get a feel for the place and see if it feels right, if people are friendly, clean, etc. Then sometimes you just have to make a choice and take a chance! ❤️ You aren't stuck there forever, and you have to start somewhere, so don't worry about finding the "perfect" place 🥰 good luck!!
