What do I know I've written two dozen books and had my work plagiarized by major networks. ChatGPT will put her out of business.

Did you study something related to literature or writing in college? If not what exactly did you study?

I know this has nothing to do with this video, but since it's your most recent video I wanted to ask you some questions and maybe you can answer them in another video.
    1) If your writing or opinions within your writing have any perception of being political or controversial (it seems like almost everything is politicized these days, which is sad), will you have a harder time getting attention or curated by Medium? Basically, I am asking if it is a biased platform in any particular direction?
    2) Do you know how creative writers fare on Medium and specifically poets?
    3) Do you as the writer get to keep all rights to all of your writing and can you publish the exact same piece on other platforms and/or books whenever you choose?
Thank you for any help with any of the above questions! 😘

Copywriting to me seems a super saturated niche service already. Every other kid on the internet claims to be a "copywriter". Clients are expecting writers to write landing pages for as low as 10 dollars. And anyone who claims "There are more businesses than ever looking for copywriters and so every copywriter will have work" are spewing utter BS.

This is defintiely one perspective, but it's not the whole truth. Many clients are paying a lot of money for quality copywriters. They may be harder to find, because those clients aren't just hanging out on Upwork waiting for you to find them. It requires niching, pitching, and not being afraid to sell yourself. That is why so many people think it's hard to make a living copywriting. If that's you, I hate to say it, but you're probably selling yourself short to clients.
I'll be interested to hear what you think once you've watched the workshop.

Hey Shivin great thoughts here. In short, clients expecting landing pages for 10$ aren't the kind of clients you want. I assure you there are tons of great, high-quality clients that will respect your work and what you do, but they take consistent prospecting, networking, and self-marketing to get to. However, these types of low-paying gigs are being eaten up by AI, that's true, but in the current climate you want to focus on becoming more of a strategist and someone who can create, manage, and execute the marketing plan for the client rather than only be the copywriter solving a smaller piece of the pie for your client.
