You are pretty. How I think about living here in the D.C. area? I've lived here since 1982 and I think this area was better back then than it is now. You are right people that live in this area complain about the traffic or the weather. Why? I don't know. As far as the weather goes summers defantley not as bad as down south. I've been down in Charlotte a lot and I've been there during the summer too. In Charlotte during the summer it gets hot as all get out and at night it gets more muggy down in Charlotte then it does here.
Lived in DC for years, and it would benefit my business if I still lived there. But I just can't. Here is the other side of things. And yes, if you are a young single person who likes to socially drink, DC is fine. But the issues with it are the traffic, the people, the tourist, the smell, and the cost of living. The cost of living in DC is unbelievable for the lack of value. It's similar to the west coast. I live in a 3k square foot home on 20+ acres in Naperville(one of the nicest places in the US) for less than my 1200sq ft 2br 1ba DC apartment cost. Commuting to work seems to take an hour from anywhere in the city. Traffic is always a nightmare. And the people...Snobby rich white liberal elites. The worst sort. The people are just rude. Ecocentric is the best word I can find for it. And you can feel the racism. People say the south is racist. In the south, if you walk by somebody of a different race you typically wave or tip you cap. The people are nice to each other. In DC, people of the opposite race try and stare you down. It's just not a pleasant place to live or work. Then again, aren't all big cities terrible?

You didn’t discuss anything negative. It would be nice to hear pros and cons.
There are way more cons then pros. Don’t do it

I'm moving there in January, so nervous!
How is it?
@@whitneybuttars3419 It's great! I'm having a lovely time, not sure what I was so nervous about haha. It's quite an expensive city though
So basically like living in Philadelphia, NYC, having all four seasons, pools, brewery, wineries. Traffic. Going to baseball, basketball games.

You made me laugh when you said clean 😂🤣😂🤣😂🙈 apparently you have either vision problems or you are in a suburb outside of the real life
This was a little rude
DC rocks!!! I've been to a conference there.
You can’t say out of state in DC.
U haven’t talked about the rat infestation in DC
This talks about DC in relation to the metropolitan area (DC MD VA)....it’s not a shady comment it’s honest...I’ve lived in DC for 35 years

DC is actually two different cities.. a white affluent one and a black poor one.
This place is a scam... don’t move here unless you make over 90k.
And it's 95% democrat. Think about that for a moment. 95%.
You are absolutely beautiful
1st step move to Arlington VA
2nd step don’t move to D.C or Maryland
You think Arlington don’t have bad parts. Stop being negative on DC and MD
