@@mementomori1553 I rewatched the Horrid Henry movie with my best friend a few months back and the last act is pure chaos. I felt like my soul was sucked out by the end of it.
This is probably the best season in the show. Both the field trip and the London episodes are hilarious. The former is probably the best in the whole show
Fun fact: Greg Davies actually used to be a teacher in real life Also in the first series 2 episode when Neil punches the fish, it’s actually tomato sauce that’s used which looks like blood
My former art teacher is serving a prison sentence for CP. He used to tell girls with short skirts on to go up a ladder to the top of a cupboard to get paper….He’d hold the ladder for them and look up their skirts. We all knew he was a nonce and some parents even complained, but nothing was done. Then 2 years after I left school, he was arrested for making and distributing CP.
They didnt kill a fish on set. They chucked the live one back in the water. Also they made the actor who played simon fall 4 times in the water, so that he would be genuinely cold.
My work experience was in a vets, I cleaned the tools, the floor, looked after the dog they had in the overnight and was able to observe surgeries and shit. I was late everyday to school but work experience I was there early, was the best part of school honestly
are work experiences in british schools just similar to internships or part time jobs? here in the US (California specifically) we're usually required to have x amount of volunteering hours, but my school required us to have 48 hours of experience at an internship. (gonna age myself here, but covid started when I was 17/had to do my internship, so if our internships were cancelled we just had to attend a bunch of work seminars. I got an internship with my uncle doing designing work where I redid the website and made a bunch of notes about the selling process to give to new hires).-
@gweneth p from my UK experience, we had to do 2 weeks work experience (volunteering in a way, because we weren't paid) in any business that would take us. A lot of places wouldn't do it, due to insurance etc. (I'm talking about when I did it, which was back in 2013). I ended up doing a week at a vets followed by a week on a farm. I loved it!
Fun fact - They didn’t actual film the first episode in Swanwich, it’s was film where I am in a little coastal town called Littlehampton. I saw the filming and specifically the scene where jay tries to hit on the ice cream lady😂
same but the one that was convicted got done the same year i went to high school ooh and the other got fired in about year 9 both were science teachers... huh...
my childhood best friend had an affair with his married, female, 50 year old teacher when he was 14. then she went to prison because he was, you know, very much still a child.
Had a maths teacher who was an actual nonce, my maths teacher after him told us about how they were realised he was a nonce but nothing happened, bit mad he didn't get sacked until something actually happened
We had a teacher who was convicted, he was arrested on 70 counts as it was on his school computer. He liked young boys and would invite them back to his classroom alone. He was super creepy.
i can't believe george doesn't know where swanage is, it's my classic family day out, we always do shops, arcades, crazy golf and ice cream, bam perfect day
George, I bought my first bottle of Lemoncello today, and it's damn good. So cheers to you for Lasagna, Mondays and mice / birds doing human-like things.
The fact that I’ve watched every single inbetweeners episode in 3 days but it takes George this long to get to season 2 shows how long he was trying to convince Alex to do this
9:57 To be fair, in the UK version of the Inbetweeners, the age difference is much smaller than in the US version. They're only 16/17 in the first and second seasons. The girl they are referring to at 10:14 is only one year younger than them. 12:10 Also having sex with a corpse is an offence in the England and Wales under section 70 of the Sexual Offence Act 2003, and the maximum sentence is 2 years. You're welcome.
Alex doesn't realise how lucky he is that George is getting him to watch this - whilever he was living his life without having done so, his opinions on literally everything automatically invalidated themselves.
Comin back from the taylor hawkings tribute concert i saw jay, shouted i loved his work instead of going for a pic as i was in a massive crowd of people and i saw him crack a smile, was dope
Fun fact, my high school once blocked all websites, including Google. We literally couldn’t research anything. We all ended up bringing in USBs with Minecraft and played during ICT
14:25 Is that George actually singing The Circle Song? Let me continue it from memory... "...how to get around. It has a radius from center to rim." And I can't remember the any more than that. Secondary school Maths memories 😭
The Inbetweeners single handidly ruined my childhood. So my step dad who i was very close with cheated on my mum so she decided to cheer up me and my siblings by buying the inbetweeners set. I learned so many sinful things on that programme and as i was 8 i told all my school friends thus spreading a inbetweeners disease leading to kids swearing at their parents and everyone. I felt so powerful knowing i've ruined loads of innocent kids lifes and family's by teaching them these words. Anyway yh thanks for reading.
George: “Everyone had a p3do teacher” Bro, a teacher from my old school got caught asking girls to meet up after school n literally non of us have seen or heard of him again like we have no idea what happened w him.
I worked at a homeless shelter for a year after college, was surprised to see my high school teacher in the shelter, we had a good chat and I wondered how he got there, but obviously didn't want to ask. Few weeks later, see an article in the local newspaper with a picture of him in it, "School teacher goes to court over multiple sexual assault allegations of female students". Bruh. I used to live where they filmed that boat scene and the ice cream, it's in Littlehampton, I'm surprised they picked there of all places to chuck someone in the water because of how strong the currents are there, that and it's f*cking brown
