The last thing Frog Sage says is that you should check in on your friend from another world. Honestly I thought there'd be more like a weapon for Mario and Peach. But no this is it. So Culex is back and invites you to face him again. He's gained the power of the 3rd Dimension and wants to show it off.
Culex 3D will show you the power of Post Game Content. So there's 2 phases???? 1st Phase he'll start with his version Meteors which does set damage to drop you to 1HP. So if you don't have max HP you die. Then he'll start counting down. Like before his crystals have there own individual attacks. But if you destroy them before Culex they'll power up the party. When Culex finishes counting down he'll use Meteors again.
After his first defeat the crystals vanish and he revives back to full HP. (I think this can be skipped I dunno. Just feels like if you destroy all the crystals first this won't happen??? Whatever) He won't use his Meteor attack anymore instead he'll countdown and attack twice per turn. But his moves are more manageable in this phase. When he finishes counting down he'll attack with "Final Claw" which if not blocked correctly will do 9999 damage to 1 character regardless of defense.
The key to this fight at least to make it quick is to build a high chain and keep it.
When defeated he'll give you a key item as proof of your victory and tell you how long it took for you to win. You don't have to judge me. You can fight him again anytime you wish. (But not the others? Not even a New Game Plus?)
That's it for the post game content....well there is one thing I forgot. But that's another video.
