That reminds me of the scene in Last Action Hero when the bad guy is in the pool and the other guy says you did a 360 on me. The bad guy explains its a 180 and a 360 would mean they are back in the same position lmao
I honestly love this channel a bit more than the main channel because you’re a lot less concerned about a timeline story and making it good. This just feels candid and a lot like your original videos.
Had to remove the inner fender liner to get the side skirt off (technically you wouldn’t have to and if it was just an everyday car I’d just remove nothing but the clips and bolts that have to be removed and pull the fender liner back but on a lambo I’d definitely just pull the whole fender liner to not risk cracking or breaking it because although it’s probably plastic it’s probably not cheap
I think this is one of my favorite videos you’ve done. Actually wrenching, getting your hands dirty and not just showing off for the camera, doing tunnel rips over and over again. It was refreshing. More please!
Honestly huge respect for James working on his own car with seemingly no knowledge! He's obviously looked some things up, but for someone who is not known for working on vehicles to just wrench on Lamborghinis and Ferraris... Big props to you brother. Also, so jealous that the fact you got to drive a saleen! Since I was 8 years old, I've always thought that was the coolest car in existence
Loved the narration you should do that more often. You did a real good job no matter what anybody says. Don’t listen to the haters love the content keep going.
It's been a great year! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, James and Soph! 2025 is gonna be amazing as well! The 812 build, all the cars coming back home, the og gallardo, the og aventador with a new interior. It's so exciting to think about! 🐐🔥
James.. "that's a nice camel" - totally cracked me up! Fun fact, whilst Australia doesn't have the most camels, it has the largest wild camel herd on the planet nearing 750,000 beasts.
I work on cars full time and watching you work on your aventador now makes me super hyped for you.. you saved yourself thousands replacing the cable yourself and managed to take the car apart without breaking anything.. keep up the good content ❤
Am i the only one who remembered that Jame's dad died right before the aventador was fully painted that color. It was a sad day. RIP. Also Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
It's awesome to see you fix some of these things yourself. Understandably I imagine some of these cars are being financed and probably have to be serviced by shops that are "certified". Great work
*6:18* Hey James Im an electrician, next time you need to snake a cable or wire i would use some good 3M electrical tape. Works wonders for fishing wires ir cables. Masking tape has a tendency to tear so be careful!
Really like these video especially when you start fixing your own Lambo. It always seems like a gutsy move with the possibility of breaking more parts. Keep it up and Happy New Year to you too
From someone who does this sort of thing for a living you are doing it absolutely amazing and above and beyond. It’s like he paid for the entire vehicle with his own money hence the attention to detail. Not Daddy’s money. You go James!!!!
I posted this comment on his video, "I'm buying one of these hypercars" in June of 2020 "The Lexus LFA seems to be the best bet for you. It's purchase price is at a lower bar of entry and maintenance costs should be similar to what you expect on any other of your supercars and who knows could be even less, it is a Lexus after all. And at the end of it, you should expect a large chunk of your dollar coming back to you, there’s only 178 examples in the US sold, according to google. This car is not something you see everyday nor is it a car built off another trim/model like the Aventador -> SVJ, and I can’t even remember how fast they announced the SVJ63 soon after the SVJ, i’m not sure that’s a good value proposition. Also that co-produced v10 with Yamaha... are you kidding me, match made in heaven. That v10 is so unique imho, no other v10 or engine will ever be made like it again nor sound the same from factory. If I remember correctly the LFA took over a decade or something crazy to develop. It wasn’t made as a cash grab, they lost money on every single one Lexus sold, this car was the labour of love. Now I don’t mean all of this to allure you to the LFA or tell you the SVJ is a bad choice, or any of the other cars are a bad choice. I’m just playing devil’s advocate and seeing the side where you keep all your money and still have a bad ass car. We don’t want you in financial ruin because you got yourself locked up in a 1 million dollar hypercar during these times. Whatever you choose man, never forget we are here to support YOU, we don’t care if your car costs half a million or a million. Stay wild my friend" If he had just read his comments he would be having such a better time financially right now.
Congrats on fixing the door and being able to return the handle! I love the Saleen S7s! I've said for years if I won the lotto I'd buy one. There is one forsale in the states with no price listed at The Cultivated Collector. But I also really want a Superlite SL-C
glad ur learning to work on your own stuff like a REAL car guy. every dude likes cars, but it takes a special kind of car guy to actually work on stuff yourself. plus prolly saved a few hundred dollars. cool stuff james, we all like when you work on stuff yourself, we want to see how the builds are done
I honestly don’t know how Clayton makes taking cars apart look so easy. I also don’t think I’ve ever heard him complain about breaking clips either. I break a clip every time I work on anything in my car
Respect for wrenching on the Lamborghini yourself. Could've easily paid someone to fix it, but there is something satisfying when you fix problems yourself.
Great video! If you ever have to snake a cable again, pull through a string attached to the original cable first. Then you can securly tie the string to the new cable.
STRAD Great Video I'm glad you finally got your Absolutely Gorgeous Aventador Roadster Pirreli Editions Door fixed and I think you did a great job and Merry Belated Christmas to you your family and all of your Subscribers
I love it how you are fixing your cars more and more on the channel, and sometimes biting more than you can chew (Ferrari lmao) its super entertaining.
“I know this wasnt the most exciting video ever”….. James idk about everyone else but I love watching you DIY fix your supercars. I yelled LFG!!!! when you snaked the new cable through, closed the door and it latched right away. Love this type of content brother🤘🏻
Hey james, seeing you drive the S7 made my day. You drove my dream car. We have an 05’ pro charged saleen mustang and ever since then I’ve wanted an S7. Amazing!
honestly love the 2nd channel, seeing more BTS kinda content is great, especially seeing you work on the cars, crazy you had to take apart almost the entire car just to change 1 part though :D
I'm pretty sure we both fell in love with the exact same red s7 in vancouver, washington. met the dude a few times, super cool guy. has tons of cars in his collection including the new fort gt :)
quick question, why don't you enlist someone to design and produce a nice custom Alcantara cover for the top of the dash? that way you can drive it without issues in the sun and you don't have to re-do or remove the white leather which looks amazing on it
So cool you got to drive the S7! I'm around your same age and had that as my computer background for years after 8t came out. Definite dream car, but I've always heard they're super tight inside and I'm 6'3"... one of many reasons it will likely never happen
James, about you sitting in a Red S7 in Vancouver WA. I’ve ridden in that exact car! The owner, Ron Wade, owned Chev’s of the 40’s. Big classic car parts seller. Ron was such a cool guy & loved sharing his cars with others. I still remember what the dash looked like in the S7 because I could barely see over it I was so young. He actually had 2 S7’s. 1 n/a, 1 TT. Both red. He unfortunately just passed a couple years ago. His entire car collection was wild. What’s even more unfortunate is he donated his entire collection but 2 cars to a museum & when he passed the museum turned around & sold everything :/
bro i remember this guy working cutting this aventador pirelle edition roadster now hes working it again this guy right here is LEGEND!! and driving a saleen s7 in dubai we support james ever since he live in audi tt❤
That’s a 180 turn. 360 you’d be in the same spot/direction lol
i was actually about to comment the same thing lol, but james is definitely more of a mechanic than me
That reminds me of the scene in Last Action Hero when the bad guy is in the pool and the other guy says you did a 360 on me. The bad guy explains its a 180 and a 360 would mean they are back in the same position lmao
Was about to comment the same XD
Came here to say that!
Doesn’t know what 180 degrees is, but tries to rebuild Ferrari
I honestly love this channel a bit more than the main channel because you’re a lot less concerned about a timeline story and making it good. This just feels candid and a lot like your original videos.
Yes! This was the OG Stradman I came to know and love from my childhood
Wish I could like a comment twice
That’s 180 degrees brother 😂
Lmao I looked for this comment before I wrote it
Same 😂
Its just a simple mistake
He previously turned it 180. But now needed 180 more.
Look at you smarty!
4:52 it's 180° brother :((
😪came to comment the same thing.
Its just a simple mistake
You are so smart

What colour is your lamborghini lol 😂😂
taking the whole kit off to fix the door is wild…

he took the kit off awhile ago to get it on the lift in a different vid
its a lambo🤷♂
@@Ethan-mn9gi There are no clips just bolts.
I’m pretty sure he took the kit off to change the exhaust
I think this is one of my favorite videos you’ve done. Actually wrenching, getting your hands dirty and not just showing off for the camera, doing tunnel rips over and over again. It was refreshing. More please!
Its interesting how something so taken for granted as a door staying shut becomes so satisfying to fix.
His two time a month posting isn't helping pay for the egg.
That's 180 degrees.
Ya just don't pull a full 360
Really enjoyed the format of this video. You should work on your cars more!
Honestly huge respect for James working on his own car with seemingly no knowledge! He's obviously looked some things up, but for someone who is not known for working on vehicles to just wrench on Lamborghinis and Ferraris... Big props to you brother.

180° james! 360 would be a round hahaha
He finished spinning it around once it was outside again. LOL
I had the same thought then I had to find a way to give him the benefit of the doubt.
Make Soph a US Citizen already!!!
Ask her to marry i bet she'll say yes
i bet sophia is behind all of the comments like these
@@Whmst i agree man
Don't worry Trump will bribe Canada with high tariffs to where Canada will be forced to become part of America.
Let then enjoy the relationship before rushing into marriage 😂

truly enjoy these repair/ tear down videos! They are absolutely fascinating and the complete opposite of boring.
i really love this new style of video i liked a lot seeing you fix your car and would love to see more of these in the future!
If you turn the car 360* the car is pointing the same way🤔, but happy new year.

That's actually impressive. So many steps! I would never dare to disassemble an Aventador... well done mecha master!
