Fantastic! I don't have a wheel but rumble with this plugin works with my xinput devices: 360 controllers for analog controlled games and wiimotes for lightgun games (only in dolphinbar mode 4 while using Touchmote software). It's great to see that force feedback works so well with a racing wheel.
I have the G29 and installed ffb plugin and launched GUI and test for ffb but a message said this device is not supported. However when I selected the Xbox 1 controller it rumbled. What did I do wrong? Any help from you or anyone reading this will be much appreciated.
I must have watched your video 10 times on how to to set this up and for the life of me, I can't get it to work... 🙁 I posted on BYOAC as well, hoping to get some help. Basically my wheel goes limp and get no force feedback at all. I have placed the ini file in the Mame INI folder and also in the root, installed the required run time files, made the adjustments with Gui wheel ID in the FFB INI file and still nothing... 🙁
@@DarthMarino I actually didn't have that option and had to add it in, but it doesn't seem to go anything either. Edit*** I fixed it! OSD output has to be switched from auto to Windows in each games ini. My Out Run ini was set to auto. After I switched it, it started working and it's amazing!
@@DarthMarino I noticed for example, out Run had an ini file generated from what I assume was my previous Mame ini file before I made the changes, so it was reading auto in OSD output, even though my Mame ini file had already been changes to Windows. I know, sounds confusing but that's how I got it to work
Excellent video. Could you possibly post the settings you use when setting up your Logitech wheel for Race Drivin'? Is it the full 900°? Any specific settings needed in MAME?
Thank you so much for these videos. It makes such big a difference with force feedback.
Been watching your videos for a long time and now have a Logitech G29 so this video is so helpful. Thank you so much for what you do buddy 👍🏻
Great work from boomslangnz! 👍

Another great video my man! Hope you enjoying it
I certainly am. The Hard Drivin' games were the ones I was hoping to see someday. Great job and keep up the good work.
Wow! I would love to see how this setup works on the arcade twin version of F355 on demul.
I don't see that game on the list but it does work with some Demul games.
Hi still cant get FF on Virtua Racing. Did the test thing, but no rumble.
What versions of the FFB Plugin and MAME?
@@DarthMarino i managed to make it work. I deleted the previous ini and this made it work. Thanks.

I'm not sure. I would try posting on the arcadecontrols forum to ask the creator if it.

I'm certainly not an expert. I assume you changed the OSD output option to windows. Does the anything happen when you go into the test?

@@cleetusvandame How did you add it? I don't understand.

@@cleetusvandame What about the tests within the FFB Plugin program. Are you getting anything there?
Can you set up Virtua striker on playstation 3?
Excellent video.

Yes, I use the full 900. I don't think there are any specific settings but I remember the in-game calibration being annoying.
This looks great but do you know if it will work with an old Mame version? I'm running 0.175
I tried in 0.171 and it worked on all he games I tried except Virtua Racing but that had a ROM update since then.
@@DarthMarino Okay, great, thanks for confirming!
