This reminds me of Seinfeld show, he's describing how his feet under the tightly tucked in cover were splayed flat. I didn't know what they were called but having watched this, I've been doing the hospital corner. I just called it 'gift wrapping' corner.
I spent alot of time growing up at sick children's hospital, the children back then were very well behaved, we had to get out of bed and make our own beds, today when I make my bed it's "hospital corner." 😊. BLESSINGS.
As a retired RN. A “ perfect “ Hospital coroner was drilled into our heads. It’s how I made my own bed for decades. For sure, my training spilled into my life. As well as being raised in a level of expectation…we were a family with a military history. So, it was an influence. These days, my life is slower paced, infinitely more relaxed. I choose the square corners these days. It’s crisp, out of the way, and less distracting in my opinion. It doesn’t immediately remind me of those former regimented days. Still, very tidy, and does it in a way that makes me want to dive in to mess it up. Lol! 😂
My Daddy taught me early in life the beauty of a tidy military corner. I used to have this bestie who was forever teasing me about my morning bed making as if it were a personality flaw. We were friends for over 30 years yet she broke off our friendship over FB messenger on 1/11/‘21 saying that I need to put people over policy. Which was incredibly impersonal and bizarre. I still make my bed every morning and now no one teases me for being disciplined and tidy. ☺️💛
@@elnazhamai .. Thanks so much. 💝 I agree with your observations. I really enjoy your content and have begun to re-fold everything in my house. I think it great that you show how to do these practical things that improve daily life because not everyone had the type of parents to help them learn these life skills. You provide a great service.. I particularly love your wrapping tutorials because they remind me of wrapping gifts with my Daddy. My Daddy was such a sweetheart when it came to making the wrapping of a gift show very clearly his love in the care he took to make every gift so lovingly beautiful. I can see you are a very loving person in the care you take from simple house chores to creating such helpful content to help us all attain a more beautiful and functional environment. 🙏💛
My mama was a charge nurse so we made hospital corner.
I think the second one
My mother an RN trained in the early/mid 50’s taught me to do the hospital corner as a child. I still do at age 64.
I prefer the square corner. It stays that way for longer than the hospital corner.😊
Let’s talk about how beautiful that blanket is!
Love both but ill end up kicking both those out until my feet are free lol
😂

❤2d Hospital corner

I preferred the first method
Square but I don't mind either way!! 🤗💞💯
I remember being tested on how to properly make a bed, specifically the hospital corner, when I was in Nursing school. Love that tidy look. 😊
Me too
Same I literally just learned that yesterday cause I'm now in nursing school 😅
Another video please, your illustration is good👍
The first one is simpler
me encanta el color y Gracias corazón 🥰🥰🥰👏👏👏
Love the hospital corners 👌
My grandmother taught me Hospital Corners. I like those.
Nice,I prefer square corner
Always love that military/hospital corner! Learned this in boot camp and loved it ever since!
Yes prefer the second one more but when I flop into bed fully exhausted I would be grateful for either! ❤
I used to be made to do the hospital and I don't do either one now
The second is neater. Most of the time I do a scalloped quilt but I will use that one for a velvety winter blanket.
Very neat and helpful, thanks!
Thanks 🙏🏻 glad you like it 🥰💕
Once upon a time, I had to do the military corner. I love the square corner, too!
Hospital/Military corners. My Grandmother taught me that years ago.
The hospital/military corner😍

Then it’s better that she is no longer your friend but sorry about the bizarre experience. I love making my bed tidy too 🥰

I like both although mine never looks as neat , due to today’s mattress’s being very heavy.
Why can't I do this??? My brain doesn't get either

Yup. Done it all my life
I always did the second one when in military situation which carried over into my routine lifestyle.

@@elnazhamai I did them for years on the wards !!❤️
Do you have the link for this blanket?
Thats how you learn how to make a bed in nursing❤
Where'd you get your comforter it's really pretty? (:
I used to work as a Housekeeper. The hospital corner is what we called Envelop Folding. And yes I always prefered the latter❤
Military corner.... 👌
No tight corners 😊
These corners are good for the eyes but not for the feet.
😂
And than you rip the corners out so you can sleep relaxed
Let the corners drape, why so fussy.
I end up kicking them out lol 😂
Both.
But you said "few". What's the other one?
if you're a nursing student, you knew this 😅
Square corners always!
Both methods
Like it both
Waoo that was amazing
That's Great 👍😊
Great idea!
Where did you get that beautiful coverlet from??
From Target :)
Now that's what I'm talking about.......a great video with reasonably priced offerings!

The first one looks better but both are nice.
in my regiment, we did the first method tho 😅
Both are nice.
Thank you 🙏 I think so too 🥰
2nd one
Is that a blanket or a flat sheet?
Her Persian accent is so cute
I like the square for a more neat look also cuz is easier. The hospital/military is better in the way that is more secure for staying in place.
Military looks classic
Amazing honestly both are great
I just want to know where that quilt is from!
This mattress is as light as a feather😮 I can’t do that to my tempur
I prefer the way someone else does while making my bed.

Hospital corner looks neater. Housekeepers also do this method. 🙂

Nope. No tucked in sheet or blankets on my bed
