We Swam with SHARKS in Belize! - Snorkeling in Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley

We had another incredible day in San Pedro, Belize! This time we took a dip in the water near Ambergris Caye, and visited some of Belize’s most stunning snorkeling sites. Our first stop was Hol Chan Marine Reserve, or “Little Channel,” this site had an incredible diversity of sea creatures-so much more than we had ever seen. It was such a treat to snorkel along the world’s second-largest barrier reef! Our second stop was the incredible Shark Ray Alley. The major draw to this stunning sight are to see the large stingrays and of course the (harmless) nurse sharks. Swimming so close to these wondrous creatures will be an experience we will not soon forget! With clear skies and warm waters, we couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous day to swim amongst the epic wild sea life in Belize!
