Not competetion, youtube algorithm doesn't just recommends more as time goes on
Honestly I think UA-cam hates beat channels because we want to re direct people off of UA-cam to our beat store, also it’s saturated af and even if you do everything right you might still only get like 5 views. I had a beat channel and did it for 3 years and got about 300 subs and still only got like 15-20 views per beat, barely any likes or comments and barely any sales. Shit was depressing 😢

i took one look at your channel, you arent being consistent with it, the other day you posted a remix you did of a young thug song, your posts are also pretty spaced out compared to what your competitors are doing
youre also not putting your beats into a niche so they get significantly way less reach

Started uploading and my schedule is 2 Beats a week, since I study medicine. My niche was Afrobeats and Afro R&B but I'm thinking, for this niche especially, it would be better to just put the artists in a type beat. So Tems Type Beat, Burna Boy Type Beat, Rema Type Beat, Libianca/ Omah Lay etc. Haven't had the most success with just putting Afrobeats and Afro R&B Type Beat into the title. Anyone else got some tips on that?

But when is your own art ready for a YT channel? I've been at it for almost a year now and I still haven't reached the point where I could easily make 2-3 beats in a day. I easily spend a whole week on one. Simply because I experiment so much and still have problems creating good melodies etc.
honestly I'd just recommend leaving perfection behind. If melodies are hard to do, chop up your chords and make melodies that way.
dont settle for less. if it takes you that long , it takes you that long. you cant speed up the process of creativity . but you will get to a point where your ideas will flow and making good quality beats will be easier
Question. If my target keyword is Drake type beat but the beat also fits another high-volume search like NLE Choppa and also a low volume niche artist, would the best title be still Drake Type Beat OR should I join the two high volume titles, or should i combine all three?

Is there such thing as a “dead” channel? Some people are saying no matter how consistent u stay and how good ur beats are, if ur channel is “dead” it will not grow
My beat channel is a perfect example. Once you get off the wave by not being consistent, it’s over. You’re at a lower spot than when you first started because UA-cam will NOT recommend you at all no matter how much you try to revive your channel by uploading frequently

What if I don’t want type beats but to make my own sounding beats???
It’s difficult to mold your sound to align with the artists that’s popular in the type beats niche and force yourself to make beats you really don’t feel like making. Especially when your production sounds nothing like those artists’ style
So do type beat channels get monitozed in today times you be tripping
type beat channels get money through sales, and can get monetized. hell i make consistent sales off old beats without posting on my type beat channel anymore

How do I know my youtube channel is dead:? cause I only have 372 subscriber, been a member since 2013 and have uploaded my own songs and stuff on and off and now starting uploading beats and normally I will get around 200 organic views.
