Huge props for posting this! Making it to draft two day two is already baller, looking forward to you doing even better next arena open. Thanks for all the content!
I really appreciate this video I am a huge fan of post-mortem content. This was well done and a good commentary on how you were thinking and I really think pointing out the traps you fell in to was really good and helpful. I would be happy to see these once a month or so on the channel again. It being a high stakes situation definitely makes the post-mortem aspect mean more.
This is very much appreciated. I think there’s a lot more to learn when things go sideways and where to go from there. This format has so many trap rare cards - some of them just bad for limited, but more that they really just work in very specific builds and archetypes. If nothing else: for me - good, sufficient removal is almost always with it. And better to have a bit much than not enough. And I often don’t prioritize quality 2-drops enough - then see top tier players picking the 2 mana commons 1st - 2nd pick.
Great video and honestly respect you that much more actually going through your own self analysis. It’s something that I have started to do my self to become a better drafter and at gameplay. As someone who has drafted lizards, those ravine raiders and cutthroats can really do work in that deck. It really strives off menace enabling bad blocks for the Opponent and maqkes the removal spells/scales that much more effective. And the recruiter is a card I see as a late game finisher and that’s it because it can just sit awkwardly in your hand like you said until it is the right time to use it. At least a card like tree guard duo can still hold on its own with its 3/4 stats and for a 1 mana cheaper, while still can be a real game closer when played with set up. Overall love the video, and keep up the great work and content! #playitback
You definitely located the open colors. I think you could have gone more aggressive by picking up more removal spells and the bat that makes an additional bat.
I think it might have been better to just play a more midrange build, but if I was going to play aggressive taking cards like the Bat would have been helpful!
These are the drafts I look for most. Appreciate showing us places you see you could have improved as it helps me make connections to times I've done the same
I just got home from my first ever draft tournament. Won all three matchups with a total of 6-1 wins/losses against very experienced players netting me shared first place. Cannot thank you enough for your bloomburrow videos, without them I wouldn’t have stood a chance. 🫡
You can't win 'em all, but you can always do your best and try to get better for next time!

I think this kind of video is even more informative than usual, discussing your mistakes in retrospect makes it really helpful
I'm so glad you liked it!

Thanks for posting this learning experience. Good to see I'm not the only one that makes mistakes.

Awwwwwwwwww man Nicolai. I haven't fully watched yet but the tag and pinned comment don't bode well. Hope that you enjoyed regardless.
I appreciate the support.
