You can see that the motor failed (or the ESC) at about 10 minutes (and remained failed for the remaining of the flight): Throttle: 100%, current consumption: 1A.
Not sure if you noticed that, might have been possible at that point to glide home from 3km away and 300m altitude.
Anyway, you recovered the plane :)
Maybe it's a good idea to add a visible alarm for when the throttle is more than 50% and current consumption is very low.

I observed and controlled throughout the flight trying to avoid landing in a safe place. But at a distance of 3 kilometers, at an altitude of 300 meters, it was impossible to return home because the wind direction did not help. ...and it would be nice if there were more notifications.

I keep asking inav devs to create a esc failure warning with some simple logic. E.g throttle > 50% amp draw < 1 amp.

@@gosurc1860 Exactly. That's what I'll add to Ruby. And few more conditions for the alarm, not just what you said, like (Arming != None, and use avg current draw, etc).

@@petrusoroaga6528 yes like inav logical conditions but with the option to output an osd message. You could configure anything then.

So looks like you assumed flight was going well until too late?? If only you noticed the low amp draw when you came back to 2k, & then went back out to 3k.. I bet you could have got her back from that 2k distance.... Is that a Racerstar motor??

    VTX overheat?

No... Everything works fine except the motor that is damaged.
