Once on a a flight to Germany from UK, I noticed a young boy of 11 request the stewardess for an orange juice. The stewardess was probably over-worked and responded quite curtly with ‘I will come by later if I remember’.
The young boy smiled and got up to follow her to the galley. I noticed that he came back after a short while with a glass of orange juice.
As he was seated by the aisle next to me, I struck up a conversation with him. I asked him what he did when he went to the galley! he said he offered to help the stewardess if she had too much work. The stewardess apparently hugged him and appreciated his offer and gave him the orange juice. So, I asked him why he did that.

If the customer is found to have been abusive to the crew, they should be refused future service by indigo.
The cabin lead needs to be fired for starting a yelling match with a customer, instead of de escalating the situation, to the detriment of all the passengers within hearing range.
the crew was right, even though her way of handling the situation wasn't ideal.....but in Indian airlines, refusal of service to passenger doesn't happen....so given the context, I think she shouldn't be punished by airline because she isn't at fault here
@@mishuccet1 why was she not at fault? Because the customer started the fight? Two wrongs don't make a right.
Yelling at a customer should be grounds for expulsion, by itself.
It seems like she was taking revenge, or standing up to the guy on behalf of her colleague.. either of which was not her job.
Her job was to resolve an unhappy customer situation, rather than escalate.
What she ended up doing is ruin the experience for many other passengers, who did nothing more than choose indigo over it's competitors.

Huge respect to this lady but still felt that she crossed the line.
Cannot judge without knowing the other side of the story. The passenger's voice seems calm, unlike the unprofessional crew. Agree, it's wrong to use the 'servant' word but it was after she yelled at him.
Imagine the same situation with a male crew and a female passenger. Would you blindly support the crew in that case? There are mistakes on both sides. Not addressing the elephant in the room just because the crew is female is unfair.
The crew definitely needs more professional training to handle situations better and passengers need to treat employees with respect.
Perfect Example!!! The worst judgement is, Men are always wrong!!! We all know, what happened in the Zomato case.
Hmmm, while I am 100% on her side, I also think that she could have done more to de-escalate and calm it down for everyone else.
Which she was also doing when the passenger shouted at her which ultimately aggravated her. If you notice, she was on her knees to persuade the passenger.
She said OUR CREW IS CRYING BECAUSE OF YOU. Passenger has already made someone cry. She is fighting for her team. I would have slapped him instead of yelling.
@Animatormohit So you are saying if someone upsets you, you can escalate it and create a potentially dangerous situation for everyone else on the flight?
That's very unprofessional and not the best way to manage conflict.
This air hostess should be given stress management lesson
From the video it is very evident that the situation had already been escalated from the passenger side as the crew is saying “ that he yelled at her crew and now she is crying because of him “ that means he had yelled at another crew because of which the girl in the video who is the lead crew had to intervene .
She says that you have booked a sandwich, the passenger must have not realised that he has booked a sandwich for his flight maybe he didn’t check the meal option properly or maybe his agent or some agency must have booked that for him . He must have wanted to eat something else , crew can make an exception but they are told to not change meals because everything is counted before a flight and meals are uplifted according to that but passenger don’t understand that . They never read any instructions before flying “food is always subjected to availability “ its mentioned when you book your flight . The girl in the video must have had enough of him that’s why she lost her cool too . They are trained professionals and they are their for your safety first then comes service . People look down on this profession and it’s this sick mentality that make them feel like they are superior and that they can treat them like their servants , I’m glad someone took a stand for her crew and herself . If you need a full course meal pls book a business class or travel in full service airline. You got what you deserve . Employees are not servants and they cannot always be expected to swallow their pride . More power to you girl 🫡

I have seen a lot of passengers misbehaving with cabin crew which is uncalled for. I hope proper justice is served to whoever is at fault.
I just hope air hostess doesn't face any problem on her job now
Most of time I also noticed misbehaving of male passengers with the cabin crew air hostess specially female. This is sad. Once I involved into one argument to stop where passenger (male) was fighting with one of girl cabine crew . Ultimately made her to cry and she was crying I engaged into to counsel her . 😢 this really sad.Salute to such bold girls...who stood for self and other as well
But what the man probably meant to say is that you are of service to passengers. Sometimes the crew behalf like they are doing you a favour, especially on the long flights. It's a service industry and they are trained to deal with people like this. The girl is clearly overworked
You were there in that flight ??..it's a small bit we have seen..Service industry doesn't means crew should take all bullshit passenger says...
In this setuition the crew is right, the passenger should not speak this way but many a times I come across many rude crew as well.😊
I totally understand passenger was wrong to say you are servant but the volume of air hostess was far high than that man..which is totally unprofessional
Totally agreed....yes passenger was wrong degrading the crew but crew is also not less shouting on top of her voice. She could have dealt with more calmer and graceful and they have well trained for handling such passengers.
It's sad.. Always we see only a one sided picture of things.. How much air hosts are abused.. You ask fellows to sit, they stand.. They never listen. Why are our people like this? I totally respect this. She is right. She's just doing her job. Please do not abuse air hosts.
Haha 😂 now all the respect he deserved so well.
I hope the airhostress does not get fired
Im with her 🫶🏻. Respect goes both ways. She's working hard and should not be talked or treated that way too .. even if they are a passenger the crew are human too..
I think she's more hysterical than the passenger🤣 she shu be trained in voice module control clearly. There's a much better way of handling this situation than yelling at each other thousands of miles from earth😒😒
Passengers in any transport argue for any inconvenience. It could be on bus, train or an aeroplane. It's very common. In this video, Air hostess is yelling not the passenger. Passenger asked why are you yelling, and this lady air hostess yelled in her highest volume. Misconduct. She could have asked for respect in a kind voice too. Like Customer care service, cabin crews are been taught on how to handle emotional situations politely with smiling face. This lady needs more time to control her short temper and to practice emotional intelligence with Passengers.

Nahh he really said "you're my servant" ☠️☠️
My friend was a witness who narrated the story offline ,seeing so caos regarding this I thought of narrating the issue with few suggestions for both the sides :- Passenger ordered the food and the food have been delivered wrong by the crew. The passenger just "pointed a finger" on the crew attendent and said that the food served was not specifying his order and the lady might be having some issues like "pointing fingers" like that of Ajay Devgan in the movie Golmaal. I was not shocked to see the behaviour of the crew attendant. Suggestions for crew attendant :- -she should have handled the situation calmly or -she should have changed the order and either say that the flight is not having that specific order then or - just a simple "Sorry" by the lady attendent could have solved the issue. Suggestions for passenger :--Since we all know that crew members of some specific flights have some attitude problem so its advisable to please do keep quite even if its their wrong - if u want to complaint please fill it in the feedback form and not by shouting. -if the other side is the girl please do say sorry and leave even if its not your fault (its a fact, the whole world will support her even the law is in favour of her) say sorry and just Leave and save your life and career. Though I am open for new work and looking for more opportunities.........I am always open for suggestions and guidance in case of Corporate conflicts and critical situations. I don't know who you are mam, but I respect you so so much, this is exactly what you should do to entitled, rude customers........ This is it!!!!
I am agree with airhostess...
Mocking and disrespecting cabin crews should not be encouraged. This is not customers comfort . 😒
This shows the condition of private sector employees in India. The crew are providing a service, they are not servants. The man should not have behaved like this.
Whatever it is but servant is not the right word to address anyone or any designation of customer service field. People who say that she could have handled more professionally and calm manner then just imagine yourself in that scenario where a person calls u a servant in front of 100 people. Dignity is important guys and it's okay to fight back for your dignity.
My support to crew🙏
He said it right ....she was a servant...what's wrong about it
More than the passenger it's the airhostess who is yelling more!
So wrong to blame the passenger alone. She really yelled and became irritating. She should let others handle, say, the Captain. Too emotional and using the word "shut up" is never supposed to be used in the service industry, especially on flight. Imagine the irritation of others.
Mostly because of administrative mismanagement the crew and ground staff has to face wrath of passengers. But than also arrogant behavior of Indigo staff is not new I India. They are worst in hospitality. Not talking about this incident but in general they are too arrogant. If passengers had other suitable options they definitely avoid Indigo. I am a travel agent and my customers always ask for alternatives.
Indians fight so politely :) 🙏
Great job air hostess 👍👍
From this video i can tell that the air hostess was yelling more than the passenger. What happened to the “customer is always right” saying? Definition of air hostess is - a woman employed to welcome and entertain customers. I wouldn’t feel welcome with her in the crew. I don’t care if the passenger is yelling, your job as a hostesses is to contain the situation and report the passenger to you superiors if needed but you chose to act obnoxious and make the rest of the flight uncomfortable
I used to work in a similar field and let me tell you something, customers are not always right. Every human being regardless of who they are or what they do have to be respected and you earn that only if you give it. That's how the world works. If the situation goes out of hand, then you have the right to stand up for yourself and thats clearly what the crew member did. The customer was wrong when he called her a servant and she stood up for herself. Nothing wrong in that. So stop defending that passenger. He's the one who misbehaved and triggered the crew member.
@@roscoroxgaming Thats not the how thr world works my friend. He doesn’t need to pay respect he already paid the price for the service now he needs to get the respect, he needs to feel heard, important. Why else do you think people pay this kind of money? She could have easily handled the situation without getting frustrated but she escalated it and that is tue choice she made regardless of what she has been thought. REMEMBER WHO PAYS AND WHO GETS PAID.
Passenger ignorance abounds.
If your meal never made it to the aircraft the flight crew cannot conjure up one even if you are flying from the land of Aladin!
Usually they will put something together from available resources .
Patience is the mother of all virtues
1:49....the verbal fight was about to come to an end until the passenger re-ignited it with a "shut up" to keep it going.....that passenger is like ajay devgun in golmal3, seems like he gets triggered or provoked when he sees pointed finger
I support cabin crew. People generally got rudeness as soon as he becomes rich 🙏
On 16th August 2022 I had travelled from Chennai to Vishakhapatnam by IndiGo flight number 6E 6835. I also felt the rude behaviour of Air hostess. It made me upset. I had informed IndiGo regarding such behaviour of Air hostess. But did not receive any further mail or information from IndiGo. So, I think IndiGo never respects and responds to any passengers....
