For a nearly 40 year old boat, that is in very decent shape going by what you showed on this tour. Even more surprising given that the asking is less than what you can expect to pay for a new BASE model pick-up truck.
I've got over 250 boats on my channel, and I can't think of any that compares to value for money. I've got small center consoles on here that cost more 😱
Again a nice and informative walk through and really a lot of boat for that asking price. Being curious about the Fort Lauderdale boat show as well and if everything works out well, I'm there in November.
Great brand… and pretty good layout too. She does not look her age and her classic sporty look is timeless. I’d get a good marine survey done on her first but the price is crazy food for the value. I would also budget another $50,000-$100,000 for anticipated repairs, upgrades and cosmetics. That said, for any offshore or distance cruising I would want to rig a basic but functional lower station. All operations from the flying bridge is not a good idea.
Not sure if there is wood or not. I'd recommend a good sea trial, mechanical inspection, and survey before purchasing any boat of this size and value. I will say though, as I was walking round inside and out, I didn't feel any weak or soft spots.
Admit it, deep down you know you want to go fishing looking like you're Crocket 🤪 At least the decor is just cosmetic and easy enough to change. At this price point, it makes it worth considering compared to some of the other boats I've featured recently.
If you can shoot me an email at Boats@GarnockReviews.com, with your contact info and what you are looking for including budget etc, I can have someone help source the boat for you 😉

@@GarnockReviews I hear that !
Really nice looking for its age. I think it will male someone a very happy Captain !
This one has aged really well. It's just a few years younger than me, and I know which one of the 2 is in better shape 😆
@@GarnockReviews Ha !
Great value for money . The 671 s are good for many more hours and are a common engine so parts not an issue .
Thanks Robert, I agree. Finding qualified engineers shouldn't be an issue either.

Thanks! Can't believe FLIBS is so close already. I'm planning on going to Daytona Boat Show in September, then Ft Lauderdale in October 😉

Thanks for watching. Now I'm curious, I wonder what options are out there for adding some sort of helm down below 🤔
What a great yacht!! Love the Retro Vibe, and modern upgrades are a plus! Thanks for the tour Grieg!! ✌️🏳️🌈✌️
I can't believe the value for money with this one 😱
@@GarnockReviews It really is a truly great deal !!
How can we get a read on the water retention and/or rotting in the hull? Is there wood encased in this hull?

Where is this boat again?
This one is ready for sea trial and inspection in the Ortega River, Jacksonville Florida.
Cored hull?
Yes, these have balsa cored hull and decks.
The boat's not bad but the decor is a little over the top. Almost like an 80s hipster owned it.

What is 12m?
12m is just under 40ft 😉
Boat values are dropping bigly.
We are fast approaching boat show season. I'm curious to see what the prices are this fall / winter compared to previous years. 🤔
All preload vids are psyops by the enemy.
Comments have nothing to do with this video
I'm not following you on either statement 🤔😬
