Playing (praying) from the heart #2: Choshi

This is the second video in a series about playing old-style shakuhachi honkyoku from the heart. Here I share some things that I've heard in Choshi as I've played it over the years. We also touch on the meaning(s) of the title of the piece, as well as the sonic philosophy behind classical shakuhachi and hitoyogiri "music."
