THE best live band of our generation... especially @ LEEDS 2013.... blew my fucking head straight off. How they pull off the technical stuff they do in the studio is amazing in itself.... but the fact they manage to do it LIVE, with no issues, EVERY TIME OF ASKING, is un fucking believable... MON THE FKIN BIFF
That was my initial thought when I saw the crowd during the first song. They probably don't know the song, it's from a soundtrack album. The best fricking soundtrack album I've ever heard! Sure, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are doing great things as NIN for soundtracks, but the only soundtrack that I've ever really enjoyed through and through was Biffy Clyro's! It's got actual songs on it! And they're great!
1:17:21 That's me getting his guitar pick! (The one in the black "Biffy fuckin' Clyro" T-shirt) and that's my Dad's canadian flag in the middle at 55:25
I saw them at Leeds fest in 2016 and I get to again in 2021! I’m so excited. Seeing a more recent set of them (this one) is so great theyre an excellent live band. So excited!
Did Simon hit himself in the face with the guitar towards the end of the first song? Look at his nose at the start of the second song. It looks like he's got fresh blood on there.
Great show, love their music! But remember to always check your nose after hitting that cocaine.. especially when theres 30K people outside waiting for you
@Will .C But that doesnt sound as much as fun.. (i did know that, and i was trying to be funny, ive been listening to Weird Leisure to much lately "polish off your cocaine")
@@MrFiffe88 ohh sorry, I didn't realise you were joking. There's lots of ppl in these comments who genuinely think it was cocaine. I would hate to find out that my fav band did coke (they probably have idk)
from interview Simon said he prefers the mexican stratocaster which comes with 21 frets compared to 22 frets american stratocaster, although both are of the same neck length, the mexican "appear" shorter because of it. Another factor that makes it smaller must be the small headstock vintage 60s style. famous mainstream stratocaster players usually prefer the CBS era (70s) stratocaster that defined by the big headstock.
This band needs to be more popular in the States ❤
I totally agree! People look at me like I have a 3rd eyeball, when I mention them. They are the BEST!!!!

He Rocked his Brains Out
I think he scraped his nose on the microphone cos look how he sings into it
Why Mike is always hide?
Cos he’s not a member of the band. Smh.
His guitar looks ridiculously short... like a kids guitar... its not of course but it looks like it

He keeps it strapped up pretty high too. That’s why it looks kind of different to me.
Sounds like Foo Fighters
