I'm always amazed at how appropriate the music that you chose is for the video. As in, I love the background tracks and they go so well with the scenery. Your videos are very uplifting, wonderful sights and sounds. I love the tree-lined roads in this area. It reminds me a little of Nyaraterama in Kigali probably because of the large villas and how clean the roads are. There are more pot-holes in the roads here and there aren't as many painted kerbs. Which makes it feel less formal and I think I prefer it like that. Not the potholes though ! Those trees are just amazing.
Regarding your comments on healthy eating and life expectancy. I agree 100% with you that eating locally produced food that has not been processed (with additives and preservatives added) is far healthier for you. All of the scientific studies have demonstrated that animals who have more than they need to survive available to them will eat too much of everything which results in shorter life spans. And people who are materially rich and chose to eat more red meat also have higher risks of contracting first world diseases like heart disease, diabetes etc. Eating fresh fruit and veg with rice & fish would seem to be the best diet for longevity. One of the things that negatively affects most African countries life expectancy is the access to good medical care at the highest risk time of all of our lives, that is our birth. High infant mortality impacts these stat's massively. In the West, infant mortality is much much lower than in most/all African countries. One other sad contributor to these stats is wars. If your country is experiencing war or experiencing war quite regularly then the casualties of these wars brings down your life expectancy figures. Because usually, its young men that go to war 😞
However, your key point about the quality of the local food that most locals eat in Africa is a very valid one I think. If you can eat lots of fruit and Veg, with Fish and Rice and on occasion red meat for protein you will have a healthy balanced diet. The preservatives and additives in processed food have no health benefit, they are there to make the food look good and last on a shelf so that they sell. The irony is, that as developing countries become richer they tend to eat less healthily because they can afford convenience foods.
Thanks for another great video, I'm so glad that you managed to recover these "lost" videos !

Hello Ronan, Thank you again for always watching my videos until the end,I really appreciate the support.
And yes,I had not actually thought about our health care,One of the reasons why also most people don't survive here and I remember a time my mum had to spend over 8 hours with my grandpa waiting to be treated.
Imagine keeping a sick person for that long. It's sad. These are some of the things we fighting for in Kenya, because of poor governance in most African countries and corruption, our taxes go to people pockets instead of them improving on institutions such as hospitals, schools.
But I hope one day, things will change for the better.
      Thank you again 💓

Hey So nice to see covering milimani in nakuru.
Used to live there in the late 70's.
We used to hang out at the state house at night
After the president left for bed we got free rides to hotels and get free food. It was the best of times in kenya. Thanks for the memories
