Sasha!! He found time to make another video...YES! Dude has got some feel and licks for sure. Can't go wrong with Browne amplification, solid products. I love my Protein V3 and T4.
I have one and it really works for me. Especially for rhythm, in a (low drive) doom style with big delays and reverse reverbs for leads. Les Paul - Orange CR120.
I really wish Sasha would give more samples with a Les Paul or at least humbuckers. My Tele sounds good through just about any pedals, but it’s a challenge matching pedals with my LP (50s std). Both into a Twin Reverb.
Great pedal and great playing Sasha. Your tone is always amazing. I have the protein and love it!!! should I replace with the Carbon X?.... regarding the difference in sound, the right side is quieter on purpose to use in conjunction with the left side and not blow out the amp... 2 takes on a bb!!!
Thanks man! I prefer the Carbon X over the Protein but that's simply because I prefer a Bluesbreaker over an ODR1 style overdrive. Also to me stacking 2 similar pedals makes a lot more sense. Same with the Nordvang Wingman which has two Klons. There's a reason why SRV used two tubescreamers :) But in the end it all comes down to taste. I wouldn't replace that Protein if you love it!
I have always liked the Bluesbreaker circuit and Browne has lifted that circuit to the best of the best. This is without compare the best drive I have ever had, "Sasha" switch up! I seriously doubt if the Protein or even King of Tone can outdo this, maybe similar (in quality and fidelity) but the tweaks Browne has done on this pedal have just improved the Bluesbreaker circuits and improved the combination of them to just legendary status. These sides are not the same and also not the Carbon single pedal so stop the comparisons! Sasha's playing continues to improve, even Buddy Blues on this pedal shows some real skill and tone!
I don't know if I can give Browne another chance. I bought the Protein & although it sounded good tonally, it had two things about it that were awful. 1. No matter how high you turned up the tone knobs it was still darker sounding than the pedal turned off. 2. Both sides of the pedal cut out the best mid frequencies.
I have bought and sold so many pedals but the carbon will never leave my board I have almost every bb circuit there is the kot , morning glory, frog pedals the carbon just sounds better and deeper
Kind of (In the sense its 2 BB's), but not really in that it's 2 different BB circuits designed to work together stacked without overwhelming your amp. We love the KOT!
@@ibaneztubescreamer it's a little dark for our liking, but people love it! its a GREAT pedal. We prefer the Protein for a do-all pedal, and then the Carbon X - but we might be biased.
I mean the sides are different right? On my pedal they sound different. I really wondered which side door should be the base sound and which side should I use to further stack. Are there no rules????? @@BrowneAmplification
@@Sagerydian no rules. tone is the rule. technically the right stacks into the left, so you would want your main tone setting on the left, and then boost it with the right side.

Splendid ❤
Sounds very good.

Great playing Sasha 🔥🔥🔥
Killer demo
Gorgeous playing. Cleaner the better. Higher gain could use a bit of compression/sustain. So good!
I know this is a pedal demo, but I'm here for the stellar blues guitar playing!
That is for sure!
He can play
Man your playing is so tasteful good stuff

Sell the LP and buy another tele
Tasteful playing as always sir

I so regret selling my protein I just don't like the right side but I loved the left

Great Demo ❤. Does this Pedal cut well through a band mix for soloing? Thanks
I'm here to hate on you in the comments for disliking tube screamers. Apart from that, great video. So many overdrive choices, so little money...
He deserves that hate. How dare he.
No matter the gear, what a tasteful playing...!
MORE IS BETTERER
You guys make the best bluesbreaker seriously I love the carbon stacked with the cornerstone antique v2
I have bought and sold so many pedals but the carbon will never leave my board I have almost every bb circuit there is the kot , morning glory, frog pedals the carbon just sounds better and deeper
Almost sounds like mayer in a box
GREAT SUCCESS LOL
There is magic that happens when you put a bb with a ts into a klon
So it is a KOT ?? 2BB's !!

@@BrowneAmplification😂 yea but you ain’t wrong 😂
It sounds better I have both
So it's basically another KoT clone?
As someone who has had both the carbon sounds better imo
Your playing made me stay.
No order switch? So lame
LAME is right.

@@Sagerydianyou could try it. Get two TRS cables and go into the left side before right side.
sounds "uitstekend"!
