Wow I learned something thanks, getting ready to work on my brother's 2005 smaller VTEC version and it won't start now it was showing signs of overheating but I think it's the sencers going to do a compression test in the next week...

4. 125
Is this good?? I haven't try the wet compression.

Yes those numbers are quite normal.

Hey. Have you scanned it for codes? Sounds like it’s in a limp mode. Does the transmission shift?

I’ve had this before and it was the top dead center (TDC) sensor. Engine light came on for that one

VTEC Selenoid error 90%. Check selenoid oil screen and selenoid itself.
