Car is running smooth after dropping this in. Will replace it with more after this life cycle. I followed an add-in oil flush with this stuff 10 minutes before changing it, and the car is running noticeably better.
Update: I am on my second oil change with this, (it says UP TO 100% deposit removal around 4 oil changes with this) I've already noticed the benefits, i also didn't wait for the full cycle before I changed this, around 3k miles or so because I wanted to see the oil and my gut told me to replace it. I will use this alone in my car moving forward.

Just finally seen this on the shelves today. Viscosity selection is pretty limited. I got it in 5w30 which is what my corolla asks for when new, but currently has 431,265 on it. I generally choose a little thicker oil for my very high mileage vehicles.
I'm excited to give this oil a try on my corolla to try to cut down on oil consumption. 1 quart of oil per tank of gas

Pennzoil platinum is good stuff probably no need if your engine is clean
Bought a 2.4 tacoma a couple months ago with 270k very dirty inside the engine. I flushed it with half diesel half oil. Had the valve cover off as I was changing the gasket and there is no sludge but it's very dark.
Saw it on Gears and Gasoline and genuinely going to try it on my girlfriend’s Civic
This is a wild product. Next oil change I'll be using it on my 22 year old engine and seeing how it goes. Great stuff!

I have an 09 yaris with 240000 miles and switched to this oil. Cannot be happiesr. Runs smoother and quieter. I can tell a difference!

I've had wonderful results so far my engine no linger overheats wothin a few minutes for the few extra dollars definetly worth it I use Mobil 1 filters as well@opera93

Anyone run this in 2011 Chevrolet 5.3 engines with dod/afm? Valvolines website says it won’t fit my vehicle (5w30) I even confirmed with live chat. I really want to try this oil on the Chevy but want to be sure it won’t damage it. I assume it has something to do with the dexos gen2

I’m sure there’s guys that run it regardless. If your 11’ 5.3 takes 5W30 then run it and don’t worry about it. Now, no oil on the market will help DOD/AFM issues. That’s purely mechanical fault not the oils.

The ingredients are similar to what are in engine flush products.
Most engine flushes are supposed to be ran under engine load

Valvoline makes multiple claims without providing any evidence or proof.
1. Show us that if a vehicle is maintained using Platinum Ultra or M1 EP, oil changed every 5K miles, the engine builds up deposits.
2. Show us that these alleged deposits need to be removed
3. Show us that your oil can remove these deposits - before and after, the same pistons, at the temperature that the consumers would use your product.
Sorry, but I expect 110% performance from my oil.
This product is unnecessary, if people regularly change their oil this wouldn't be in issue, 10k mile oil changes don't work
yea but unfortunately there's a lot of people who don't take care of their cars.
True but people like me have to try and bring back older Cars to life when buying cash cars but you still have a valid point regardless.
Your comment sounds great, as long as you're the one that bought the car new and knew exactly what oil went into it and at exactly what oil change intervals. Then yeah, probably not a necessary oil.
What about when you buy a well used 24 year old Toyota corolla with 430,000 on it, that uses a quart of oil every tank of gas? Along with you have no clue about its history?

Yeah that’s called an oil leak
Or blowby…. Same principle of oil leak just not noticble at first glance on the floor😂
If it is blowby, this oil may help to fix that by freeing up stuck rings.
It’s not a body spray , it’s oil that’s designed to do a job .
