Thank you so much Tim for this review. It's a beautiful Bible. I only have 1st the Gospels & is in paperback which is exact same paper, pictures just no guiding or rounded corners. Am waiting for better pricing to get more editons. Really wish would be released in faster sequence. Some of us may meet the Lord before it's finished, yes sorry that's sarcastic. Thank you again for the review.
I actually prefer to have to reattach a cover occasionally than have a book that I have to wrestle with to read. Just saying as I want Premium Bibles without thick edge lining as it damages the first and last pages. Pulling off the binding cloth applying glue and new cloth followed by reattaching to the cover is a 24 hour clamp and 15 minutes of work, vs hours of frustration trying to hold it open. A good pastedown is my preferred over reinforcing or edge lining.
Am commenting again to ask a question. Am looking for a new personal, compact size CE Bible (since cataract surgery ) but not tiny print to carry with me. The 4 Catholic bibles I have are a bit to large or don't want them to get that wear. So many are available in non-Catholic editions & at very reasonable prices. I've returned to the Catholic church after 40 yrs at nondenominational churches. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Outside the Baronius Press DR, I don’t know of anything. I think Catholic Bible Press is about to release a personal sized RSV-CE in the not too distant future.
@@anickelsworthbiblereviews thank you for your reviews. I have purchased 3 bibles you reviewed, 1 being a premium Bible. Appreciate all you do here for us. Blessings to you and yours 🙏.
Thank you, Brother Tim 🌹🌟🌹🌟

It takes a long time to typeset and print bibles.
@@anickelsworthbiblereviews I never considered that.
Thank you Tim! This just reaffirms my desire to get this set.
I’d love to see a single volume condensed edition once it is completed.
@@anickelsworthbiblereviews My fixed income would certainly appreciate that!
They are beautifully made and a joy to study. I have two of the books so far.
Definately excellent bibles. I have the set and they are excellent - there is so much instructive content and it is a pleasure to read.
I have been using the Catholic Adventure Bible along with Father Mike Schmitz’ Bible in a Year podcast. That has been working really well.

Great video. I love this set. I need to the latest one.
The NRSVCE is the main bible used for the Catholic lectionary in Canada.
@@carlose4314 that’s interesting.
We're gearing up for the introduction of the ESV-CE for the Catholic Lectionary in the UK at Advent. @@anickelsworthbiblereviews
Thanks Tim! You nailed the "Via Pulchritudinis" pronunciation! It means "The Way of Beauty."
Very interested in getting this once the whole thing is out... though I do wish it would be in the Douay.
Or rsv2ce
They did it in RSVCE for evangelization purposes to reach nonCatholic and Catholics alike...easier to read and understand.
@@therese6447 its not in rsvce
I noticed the new volume only has one ribbon marker compared to the other volumes.
I’ll have to look again.

I think with a subscription Ascension Press has the whole Catholic Adventure Bible on their app. That would be very portable.
@@jnkelley42 definitely!! In my old age I like paper though.
Too bad it doesn't come in different translations.
The CSB is their flagship.
Only a heretic would dare to take notes in such a beautiful Bible!!!! :)
Ha ha.
