You are so right about the topic of childhood abuse with boys needing more light shed on it. BTW, one of my favorite memoirs to read and gain inspiration from is Seven Story Mountain by Thomas Merton. The memoir The Invisible Girls by Sarah Thebarge has helped me structure my dual timeline - not an easy undertaking!
