Some outstanding covers. Love the Henderson and Olympic Team covers the most. The colors on the Gretzky and Hulk Hogan are beautiful. Happy Thanksgiving
Thanks Rick! I'd probably put the Miracle cover in the top 3 for all time most iconic covers. The only reason I had it a little lower on this list is because it's an entire team and I feel like individuals typically drive the highest value. The POP counts are also a little higher than some tough issues like Tyson. Wouldn't argue with anyone putting it higher on their lists though! Thanks for watching!
I have the Marino cover and the first three Jordan cover mags, socked away in a storage unit. I assume that they all have labels on them, but I'm not 100% sure, as I haven't looked at them in years.
I've been picking up Sports Illustrated magazines at my local thrift shop and found some bangers. Thr 2024 baseball preview Ohtani with address label though for $2. Yzerman for $1, Laimbeer "WHAT FOUL" for $4, Isiah thomas ncaa champs from 1981 with label for $3. There might be a a market for these in the future. Sports Cards are getting saturated and talked about too much.
I'm pretty sure I've got 8 newstands of the Miracle on Ice Covers all for sure mint cuz that's a top 3 cover for me! Can't wait to see what grade my Jordan star is born issue gets cuz I remember that personal issue was mint and can't wait to see if I have more than one. For sure my Gretzky is really nice and I'll be shocked if I only have one and my 1st Jordan is really nice, might have more than one. All newstands BTW!
Great top 20 sports illustrated 80's count down video. 😀👍
Love these videos Brad! Great job!
Thanks!
Great video. My newsstand copy of Jordan 83 was recently graded by CGC 6.5 and now proudly hung up on the wall. Thx for giving it the no.1 spot
Awesome!

Thanks for watching! Have a great Thanksgiving!
Great video Brad! Only change I would have is “miracle on ice” higher than Mike Tyson. Keep em coming!

I have a framed Len Bias tribute magazine from 86. Being a guy from the DMV, that SI is special to me
Great cover. What could've been!
