Thank you for the video, please could you tell me wich is more effective than sauna blanket or infrared PEMF? Which one is better, please help. Thank you
Hi! I think it depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for something to make you sweat, then go for the sauna blanket but if you're looking for something with the benefits of PEMF, then go for the PEMF mat. Definitely check out my videos on the sauna blanket and the full size PEMF Mat for more information about them! ☺️ I'll link the videos below! Hi Dani. For detox, a good sweat, would you recommend the blanket or mat? My thought was to knock yoga out while on the mat but want the best overall sweat. Thank you!
Hi! I'd say for the best sweat, definitely the sauna blanket but if you prefer to do yoga to break a sweat, then maybe you'd prefer the full size PEMF mat. It just depends on your preference but I do think the sauna blanket will make you sweat more unless yoga normally makes you sweat a lot. I hope that helps! ☺️
Hi Anna! I've been using it for over a year now and I love it! I mostly use it as a heating pad which is amazing for cramps and is really relaxing. PEMF therapy sends pulsed magnetic fields to specific areas in the body and these energy waves help to heal damage at the cellular level. As far as how long PEMF therpay gives pain relief for, I unfortunately am not sure. I personally don't have chronic long term pain so am not able to test it for that myself but from the research I have done, PEMF is supposed to be really helpful for treating pain. I'm just not sure if it only provides temporary relief from pain or not. From what it sounds like, it heals at a cellular level so I would think that it would provide more than just temporary relief. I hope that helps a little! Definitely do some research into PEMF therapy. ☺️
Would you recommend getting the cover for the Go Mat? Also, may I ask how tall you are? You mentioned their blanket as well and I'm just curious how it fits/ length-wise for their Sauna blanket as well! Thank you!
Hi Abby! Honestly, I think you can totally just use a towel that you already have for a cover for both the PEMF Mat and as an insert for the sauna blanket, but their PEMF cover and sauna blanket insert are really cozy and feel more luxe than towels so they are nice! I'm 5'4! I personally don't use a towel or cover when I use the PEMF mat but I will say that their PEMF Mat Cover is definitely longer than the Go Mat since it's made for their full size PEMF Mat. But as far as the PEMF Mat Cover goes for fitting the sauna blanket as well, it definitely would! Higher DOSE also has a sauna blanket insert specifically made for their sauna blanket if that interests you. That insert is actually like a pocket type towel, like you slip into it like a sleeping bag. I show the sauna blanket insert in my updated review for their sauna blanket. Here's a link to that video if you'd like to check it out: ua-cam.com/video/36PDw9s7s_s/v-deo.html&ab_channel=DaniSmith
Thanks for your review! How hot does this thing get for instance in comparison to a Sauna blanket. If the Sauna blanket gives off heat on a 10/10 would this thing rate as a 4/10? Also in relation to the full size one being bigger, are there any other differences?
Hi! It gets really hot in my opinion. Of course, it's different than a sauna blanket because a sauna blanket traps the heat but this PEMF mat feels like a heating pad and I absolutely love it! For example, I typically use the PEMF Go mat on level 3 and that gets plenty hot for me but it can go up to a level 6! I have rarely even used it on level 4 because I get too hot with that. I haven't used the full size one so can't compare it to that from my personal use but there is one main difference between the full size PEMF mat and the PEMF Go mat. The PEMF Go Mat doesn't have the "ion" setting like the full size mat does. The Go Mat is 1/3 the size of full size and weighs only 11lbs vs the full size mat which is 43lbs. I personally love the fact that with the Go Mat, I can use it on my office chair. I use it pretty much every day when I'm working at home in my home office. And if you're wondering what the negative ion button is, here's a description. "When heated, the 20lbs of crystals produce negative ions, which are like antioxidants in the air. These ions neutralize free radicals and can improve your mood by directly impacting your serotonin levels. Your body and mind stay balanced and you can get high naturally." I'm hoping to try the full size PEMF mat soon so whenever I do try it, I'll definitely do a review video and also a comparison video between the full size PEMF mat and the PEMF Go Mat!
@@DaniSmith405 Two months in to owning this mat, I came across this review of the mat, and I'm not sure if it's safe to use it for PEMF ua-cam.com/video/TrqBxMSfeCA/v-deo.html what do you make of it?
Honestly it just depends how warm you want it to be! I personally really like level 3 in general and find that level 3 works great for period cramps too!
Hi Heather! Sorry for the late response. I reached out to Higher DOSE to ask about that. So yes, the main difference is the negative ion button but honestly they feel the same besides the size and weight of the mats. The Go Mat is 1/3 the size of full size and weighs only 11lbs vs the full size mat which is 43lbs. Basically, the point of the negative ion button is that, when heated, the 20lbs of crystals produce negative ions, which are like antioxidants in the air. These ions neutralize free radicals and can improve your mood by directly impacting your serotonin levels. Your body and mind stay balanced and you can "get high naturally," like their slogan says. Haha 😄
Of course! So heat mode is just warmth and here's what the Higher DOSE website says about PEMF. "PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) sends electromagnetic waves through your body to help promote your body’s own recovery process. Unlike the harmful electromagnetic waves found in devices like x-ray machines and microwaves, PEMF waves are delivered in small bursts at a low-frequency, mimicking the same kind of electromagnetic waves you’d find in nature. The longer you use it - both over time and during your PEMF session - the more you will feel the long-term benefits. The PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) technology used in the Mat is based on optimized frequency, intensity and wave type of synergy with the other therapies which are part of the mat design; Far Infrared Therapy, Negative Ion Therapy, and Crystal Therapy"
Does the light of the PEMF also flash when you turn it on (the light of the heat stays still instead). I am afraid my mat does not work properly. Thank you in advance for your kind response!
Hi Jasmine! I believe mine actually does the same thing. At first I wondered if it was faulty but I think that's actually normal. Once I turn on the PEMF then choose the number setting, the light of the Heat setting shows instead. I hope I'm understanding your question correctly but definitely send Higher DOSE an email if you have any concerns. They'll definitely help you if something is wrong with it! But I'm pretty sure mine does the same thing!
Hi Sandra! It shouldn't get very dirty and doesn't require much cleaning but if you're using it for clients, I understand why you'd want to clean it more often. Depending on the heat level you use, that may cause some sweating but the clothes you or your client wear will definitely absorb most of that. If you feel you need to clean the mat, you can wipe it down with a damp cloth or even spray it with a natural cleaner. I have a recipe for a natural cleaner that I use in the description of this video if you'd like to check it out. Higher DOSE also sells a cleaner spray but that's kind of pricey so you can totally just make a natural cleaner yourself. But the main thing is to make sure you're not using a chemical cleaner on it. I hope that helps! 💚
Definitely check out the Higher DOSE website, specifically the page about their PEMF Mat. They explain everything about the mat and what PEMF is! The product in this video is a PEMF mat which has low EMF. :)
