Hi Richard! You are inspirational in your methods. I used to be an english rider and developed heavy hands due to tough school horses and wild coaches. My issue with my own horse now, is I prefer to give him the nice long western reins but he constantly cuts in to the center of the ring unless I take up the reins and hold him where I want him. His previous owner could ride him on a loose rein easily with the nice low western head carriage and I am wondering what I am doing wrong.
