before i was struck with disability, i was 97-99kgs (213-ish pounds) in weight (192cm tall or 6"3') and i could do dips with an extra 85kgs (187 pounds) strapped with the belt, and on the seated dip machine i used to push 275kgs total (606 pounds) or 137.5kgs (303) each hand. took a total of 8 months to gain that strength from the first time i started to work out, till i could move that weight.
we can do anything we want, if we are willing to put the effort in to get it.

very good advice. You cannot tell how tough or deadly a person by just looking at him. I was in martial arts when I was young and in the service and saw many a nerd looking dude kick butt and it was funny to watch.

Karate's purpose was developed as a replacement for arms though, when they where prohibited on Okinawa by some warlord if I remember right.
I love the fact that you mentioned my teacher, Ikemiyagi Sensei. But he never claimed to have the world's deadliest punch. That was just a poorly thought out title used by a local here making a documentary on karate masters of Okinawa. He is extremely humble and a tad embarrassed of the fact that they used such a title on that documentary.

Kerim duygu has conditioned his shins to the point where the micro tears he’s put in the shin bone have made his shins so strong that they are like steel bars. In Muay Thai this method is used at nearly every school, and it consists of kicking extremely hard immovable objects over and over. Stuff like walls, concrete pillars, heck even in olden times, thai warriors would strive to kick down palm trees which made their shins tougher. Not only do they use their shins, but for (elbow strikes don’t actually use the elbows) they would condition the forearm bones since they are really what is used to strike people. If you barely feel hits from those areas then you’re more likely to strike hard enough to break their bones. Personally, I used hard kick pads to start out with until I felt no pain kicking them as hard as I could, and now I’m going on to walls. Please note if you try this yourself, BUILD UP TO THE WALL! If you don’t condition yourself slowly you are going to injure yourself so do be careful, this sort of thing takes time as recovery is key to building denser, stronger, and pain free bones for kicks and strikes. He is an absolute badass, much respect to his dedication, determination and most importantly his results.

True strength doesn't always get it, but brute strength usually does. My nephew went into a dojo. She was in the Navy. He challenged everyone in the dojo including the sensi. He beat them all. He never had one day karate class or any martial arts training. His mommy my niece and his sistersincluding me we're all so proud that he beat up an entire karate dojo by himself without any kind of formal training. That's my my little six-foot-five nephew weighing in at 240 lb solid muscle.. he and I go way back. Glad he likes me.
