Nicely done Julia! I'm a UT grad but it's been years since I've been back-your tour made me feel like I was home again. There are more new buildings than I would've believed, but the heart and soul of the campus hasn't changed a bit. It's great to see a new generation there!
Aw thank you for commenting! It makes me so happy to see alum watching my videos :) My parents both went to UT, and despite all the new construction, they still feel that UT has the same charm just like you said!!!
I went there from Fall 2009 to Spring 2010 but then transferred to a different college and unfortunately haven't been able to visit since summer 2011. Crazy to see how much things have changed! Can't wait to visit again sometime soon, and hopefully on a more regular basis in the future!
I love seeing these virtual tours of campuses I have never/will likely never visit. Magnolia Hall is a beautiful building. Campus looks so similar to where I went to my undergrad in CA. Same brick style buildings, same layout, etc. Cool campus. I honestly thought there would be much more about sports on campus to tell you the truth since the SEC is ravenous about them. Am I just missing it?
Sports is definitely a big deal! This video was filmed and uploaded during covid, so not a lot of people were able to be on campus for sporting events and events in general
@@juliasurface Oh very cool, that must be fun on gameday. Thanks for the info and enjoy your remaining time in college, it goes by fast and it blows you already lost all those potentially good days due to covid.
@@juliasurface I attended UT in spring 2007. I miss it up there was so pretty when the flowers were blooming. Was living in laurel apartmentsonly thing I hated was Ayres hall had not heat or ac. But that may have changed.
it would be great if you could respond to this. I am an incoming freshman and have my eye on Brown. Do you know what the availability is like? I've heard that it fills up within the first wave and that it's one of the easiest to get into as a freshman so I'd like to know what it's really like. Thanks it advance
Hi Jenna! Yes, Brown can be very competitive and typically does fill up on the first wave. If you have the first wave though, there is a chance you’ll get it! Brown has LLCs as well, so you could potentially apply for an LLC in Brown if you don’t have a roommate yet. Magnolia, Orange, and White are also really popular choices for new dorms too!!! Dogwood is an all Honors LLC, so you’d have to be in the honors program to be in that dorm. Feel free to check out my housing videos to get more info if needed! Hope this helps!!!
I hope everyone has a great start to their week🧡🧡🧡
