Thanks for the tour of the most beautiful campus in the USA. I was a grad student at App State in 1974-76 and truly loved my experience thereand have longed to get back there but just haven't been able to so I enjoyed your video. I can't believe how big the campus has grown. Some of the old buildings were there when I was a student, but there are so many new ones. Since I was a grad student I lived off campus on King Street kinda across from the big Baptist church. My building was Edwin Duncan where I took education classes. Kidd Brewer was there but didn't look anything like it does today.

I went to App State and graduated in 2017! It's a fantastic school, and I love the campus. I got really used to the snow, wind, and rain. I think I went through about 5 umbrellas! I'm not a coffee drinker, but Espresso News was a great hangout spot close to campus that I discovered my senior year. The upstairs area so cozy!

this is SO random but while I was watching this I was thinking "omg she looks so familiar". I could be totally wrong but I think I bought your old car last year. Its a blue Kia Forte !! Could be a huge coincidence (and if so I probably sound crazy rn) but if it isn't then ahh what a small world!! i was talking to your parents before I bought it and was telling them about how much I want to go to app state and they mentioned you lots and how you love it so much! anyways this was such a great video and has me even more excited to go this fall :))

I believe a lot of the design classes are in a building called Katherine Harper which I didn’t show in the video but it’s located next to Garwood (which I think I showed a little). I could be wrong but I think you can also double check on app state’s website!

Aww I’m so glad you enjoyed! It’s definitely very different! So much has changed even in the past 2 years- I graduated 2 years ago and went back recently to move my sister in and there’s so much new stuff!
This weekend we are celebrating our 50th anniversary... dated for 3 years at App State... would have been nice to see the contours low stonewall that was outside the "new" cafeteria to the Student... Center .... or East Dorm. The Old Library.... probably best we don't go back....

The football stadium is on west side! Where a lot of the newer dorms are. I’m not sure where mountain morrow dorm is because it sounds super new (so not from my time at app🥲). Hope your niece likes App!!

hey, Zoe, can I ask you a ❓ question? Why is my curly hair get soft after showering, and another thing is that everytime I put products on my curls, it dries up completely! Idk But my curly hair is reacting differently.
Oh the finmore! It’s new- I’ve never been inside but I’ve heard they’re really nice! Expensive though. Kensington meadows I’ve heard is really nice! Cottages of Boone management sucks but the actual living isn’t terrible and I’ve heard that the standard is… interesting. Rivers walk apartments are new too but probs expensive. Try looking through winkler!

Hi!! I’ve loved app so much!! I def think if you don’t like the cold, it may not be the place for you bc it gets pretty cold here! It’s April and it snowed this past weekend lol 😅 but then two days ago it was 70° so the weather is very random… I will say though that I didn’t LOVE the cold before coming here, and now I don’t mind it!! But it’s just diff for everyone!

@@Zoearaymond I remember making the Convo to Walker walk almost everyday. It sucked. My freshman year I had to walk from Hoey to State Farm with a broken ankle in the snow to get my car so I could get to work because the Appalcart wasn't running. While I was there Peacock was still called Raley. I had classes in the old Sanford. I watched them implode Winkler Hall but all the other west side buildings were still there. It's just so crazy how different it looks now. Thanks for the video.

@@Zoearaymond Haha Peacock was the Chancellor while I was there (or at least until like my senior year). They changed Raley to Peacock when he retired. But it has definitely changed quite a bit. I think it was 2014 when they took down Winkler. There used to be a few videos of it coming down floating around youtube. I'm sure some are still up. But thank you for the video. Hopefully I can make it to a few football games and see it all in person.

Do you put your products in your hair while it’s wet? Also, don’t dry your hair with a regular towel! It dries it out. Try using a tshirt instead:)
