- Pennsylvania trout fishing on day one of a car camper trip. I Start the day with a Rooster tail as normal, wasn't getting the action I was looking for so I switched to a 3 inch Keitech swimbait and my day turned around very quick! I started getting bites nonstop, catching mostly Brown Trout I did hook a couple Rainbow Trout to round out the day. Camp at Walmart to rest up for another day of trout fishing which leads to me catching my PB Brown Trout! THANKS FOR WATCHING!! NEW VIDEOS EVERY WEEK!!
What size hook u using?
Don't care about the catch show close up and rigging

Tremendous action particularly from the browns. I fish in streams that have only rainbows - would you recommend swimbaits for rainbows? Would you recommend any changes to the size or colors of the swimbaits when targeting rainbows?
Oh those Keitech swimbaits are my favorite lure! They catch everything. Are the streams you fish stocked or wild trout? I only fish the 3 inch size and colors I like are Dark Sculpin, Green Pumpkin Candy and Ghost Rainbow.
@@TrailsNTrout Thanks for the reply. I'll have to give them a try. The streams I fish are all stocked. No natural reproduction.
Stockers eat them too. But I think they work better for wild trout since the Keitechs swimbaits are so realistic looking. You probably have used Rooster Tails before another great trout lure, I think would work better on stockers. Go get um!!
I use swimbaits here in canada for wild rainbow all the time out fishes roe sacks most times now that zman has some new swimbaits out gonna be a good fall for rainbows

My go-to is inline spinners but after seeing this I will definitely be adding to my arsenal! Great video brother!
A Rooster Tail is a go to for me too. I usually start with a spinner. I really only bring Roosters and 3'' swimbaits and they always eat one or the other. In Fridays upcoming video I break my Brown Trout PB using the same swimbait! Thanks for watching
