- Taking a look at the people leading the team on the Dandadan anime from Science SARU
After being aggressively rejected, Momo Ayase finds herself sulking when she stumbles across a boy being bullied. Saved by her rash kindness, the alien-obsessed boy attempts to speak to her about extraterrestrial interests he believes they share. Rejecting his claims, Ayase proclaimed that she instead is a believer in ghosts, starting an argument between the two over which is real.
In a bet to determine who is correct, the two decide to separately visit locations associated with both the extraterrestrial and the supernatural-Ayase visiting the former and the boy visiting the latter. When the two reach their respective places, it turns out that neither was wrong and that both aliens and ghosts do exist.
This marks the beginning of Ayase and the boy's adventure, as they attempt to fix the surreal, supernatural, and extraterrestrial elements around them to return to a normal life.

This was a good watch. Though I feel you really should've highlighted the other core staff members responsible for various design duties.
- The art director Junichi Higashi, another major veteran from the 90s, and founder of the background studio Easter. Was involved in pretty big titles like Cowboy Bebop, Escaflowne, Umineko, Fairy Tail Dragon Cry, Kekkai Sensen S2, and most recently, still working on great series like Skip and Loafer, Ya Boy Kongming, and Jujutsu Kaisen S2.
- Color Designer Satoshi Hashimoto, yet another veteran responsible for popular series, most notably someone who worked under Satoshi Kon frequently. Another director he worked with was Tetsuro Araki on both Attack on Titan, Highschool of the Dead and Kabaneri. One Punch Man, SAO Ordinal Scale, Devilman Crybaby, Vinland Saga, Tower of God, Beastars, Ranking of Kings, Spy x Family.. he's got a great track record!
- Director of Photography, Kazuto Izumita. He started as a production assistant on Bones series like Eureka Seven and Ouran High School, before joining T2 Studio. His first DOP role was for Code Breaker. Ever since then, he was responsible for Rolling Girls, Dimension W, Flip Flappers, Revue Starlight, Great Pretender, Heike Monogatari, Ranking of Kings, Skip and Loafer, and even now he was DOP for the Look Back movie. He's a perfect fit for those kind of designs!

This've always been the style science SARU is knows for across the board,
But they're also known for fleuid and constant animation, and perfect imitation of the style of what manga they adapt, and consistent quality control,
Trust me, this studio is perfect for this one otherwise we'd get another berserk
This manga has monsters burning Alive and walls turning into wobbly mass of waters , sounds like a nightmare to do right, but those are some iconic visual this studio is known for
Kensuke Ushio being the composer for DanDaDan makes me soooo happy he is a musical beast I swear!

Fingers crossed!!! The first teaser I felt looked a little stiff, and characters a bit out of character to be honest, and had me worried. The more recent trailers look more promising. Given how much action the manga packs, I’m worried about whether they can keep it up as animation. It will be terribly expensive to produce. I hope it gets a warm welcome with huge popularity so that they can keep the budget high. I’m especially looking forward to their use of strong colours and extreme angles and visual solutions in the action scenes. Looking very promising in the little flashes of snippets shown so far.
I'm already so hyped for the anime, and even more so now that I see that the staff is great right off the bat. Can't wait!

Kensuki Ushio's best work is Ping Pong the Animaiton. Check the ost and the series! One of my favourite anime/manga of all time
I highly recommend checking out Tatami Galaxy btw. It kinda gives me Dandadan vibes with how crazy but also very grounded it can be.

Can you also talk about the sakamoto days anime staff, it's the opposite of stacked the director for the anime is a joke, like how did elusive samurai end up with a better staff than sakamoto days not to mention gachiakuta is also getting a stacked staff by studio bones I'm concerned for the anime 😔😔

Man, shut the hell up calling the director a joke. Sure, he's been in some mediocre things over the years, but a lot of that stuff is anime from 10-15 years ago with him doing some small directing gigs since. Seems like this will be his big breakout and maybe this will be the first time he has a chance to actually shine. He's a genuine fan of the manga too. Just look how excited and honoured he was in his statement and on his Twitter account. Passion can go a really long way when it comes to anime production and the rumours of the Sakadays anime have been a thing for 2 years now. They've had a ton of time to cook, so at least wait for the show to come out or even the first actual trailer before flat out calling the dude a joke. Also this is just that, a PV, so some of it can change significantly from the finished product and some of it might be pre animated. The character designer might come on to direct some individual episodes also, since he has prior experience directing for TMS with him directing the entire Megalobox show. It was received greatly by people and had some really well choreographed and animated fight sequences. TMS can cook with the resources they have, they got Hisashi Mori on Baki and Conan so they could get him for Sakadays. Also Isuta Meister is a big Sakadays fan (and one piece/black clover sakuga animator). He asked to work on the show and also retweeted the PV. There's hope man, 7 more months till this comes out. Don't be so gloomy.
I think it's because people were so excited for it to finally get animated that as soon as they saw sakamoto moving and it wasn't cgi they blacked out, i was seeing quotes like "we won and it's going to be peak" but when the hype dies down and you look at the trailer for what it really is you start seeing all the problems, the background is horrible the photography is not that good the cgi on the gun looks bad and the movement is not fluid and keep in mind that they usually pick the best looking scenes that are ready for the pv

My only worry indeed had everything to do with the Pacing,
Especially with this being a battle shonen manga, animating action is hard, and the pattern I'm seeing where studios like to longate an already decent fight gets on my nerves honestly,
At the very least i hope they don't do that, a smart producer knows less is more
(If i see something akin to a rabbit performing karate on toji again I'm gonna do a free fall, that was weird)
it all depends for me! I like when they try to add on more in scenes like that. as long as it makes sense and core moments from the manga are left alone. Naruto is a great example where directors add on to an already great fight.

@@IAMA1 I didn't say the fight was bad, I said what studios tend to add to a fight is dumb if not detrimental, and if goku vs Frieza is anything to go by, you shouldn't extend something past it's welcome
To give you a better example look at Asta vs ladros,
Ladros can't heal yet he got cut 3 or 4 times across the torso and his wounds fanish,
The witches forest gets burned and yet that somehow doesn't matter
Asta's anti-magic works only once when the fight the was over
I can enjoy enjoy a fight that lasted only 2 pages without ploblems,
More so than one lasting a whole episode and is riddled with problems

Thats reasonable, I really never thought of it that way. I mean I’d rather choose creative freedom over a strict vision of staying true to the manga or a director’s vision and giving it a 1:1 adaptation. I love it when what I see on screen exceeds my expectations or atleast make a scene better than I imagined reading it. Although it isn’t really economical to create something like that toji fight you mentioned, but animators create those cuts out of passion rather than a responsibility to be be compensated with.

Creative freedom I think is a liberty that everyone should take,
An "adaptation with a personality" is always better than just "adaptation"
And of course "good animation" isn't a synonym for "good adaptation" either
Chainsaw man is a good anime adaptation where all the staff are letting their passion show, and the result is a different but improved experience compared to the manga
Meanwhile JJK season 2 is falling apart episode by episode and the animators are doing whatever to carry the show

While I am really excited for this, I'm also somewhat concerned because Science SARU is not really a big studio, and yet they are working on multiple, relatively high priority projects.

Overall everything looks good... except Momo and Aira, from what i have seen from the Trailers atleast. Momo looks in some frames realy wierd and in other she looks 1:1 from the Manga... but Aira on the other Hand realy doesnt look good sadly
