Rockstar doesn’t do CGI. That’s one of the best parts of knowing their development team is in a league of their own. Going all the way back to GTA 3 with its opening bank heist cutscene… always in-game graphics. I remember someone at Digital Foundry referring to the Rockstar devs as “unrivaled techno wizards” :)
exactly. if you look at gta 5s trailer it looked really good at the time but now looking back on it, you can tell its either the ps3 or the xbox 360 version of the game. they dont do pre rendered shit

I like GTA 6 but you're making too much of it. It was a good introductory trailer but not the best. The first GTA 5 trailer wasn't that surprising either, so it doesn't surprise me.
2:47 how would anyone ever think this is a crane? Even if you've never seen a radio mast, a crane is not 1500 feet tall and fixated with steel cables. Truly an American moment in this video, otherwise good vid
All trailers of GTA were in-game graphics, they never did CGI shit, cause they don't have too... This game is going to blow our minds!

Another thing that Miami is known for is cruise ships. It's one of the biggest cruise ship ports in the world. I think there's definitely going to be some cruise ship gameplay

Jason even have 3d bodyhair, you can see a shot in the car where you se the light but present tickness of that and on his chest of course at the end... this is something others game dont do, and Im glad they are putting it in game. Such a small details make for big.

I think the guy jumping into the table at 29:27 is actually really important, its showcasing the physics we are going to see with breaking shit/hurting npcs. Like look at it again, the way the table breaks, the amount of cups and shit flying everywhere, like just wait for this its going to be SO much fun to just cause havoc on the dense amount of ppl and details u know? Just a thought

As a native Floridian, if y'all are thirsting for some more Florida craziness before GTA 6 releases, I highly recommend Miami Boat Ramps, Wavy Boats or anything about "Swampfest" on UA-cam. I am in no way affiliated with any of the channels. Also, gotta respect that Rockstar added Police BodyCam for their return to Florida. 🤣

the fact the game looks this good in trailer 1 and we won't be getting this game for 2 more years... just thinking about what the game will look like when it's finished and had all that polishing done just blows me away which I thought wasn't possible to be blown away anymore than what the trailer did. I absolutely cannot wait to play this game

12:35 another really small thing many people missed, is the guy standing infront of the cooling box (if that what is called) he is wearing which i think are 'airpods' or just like earbuds! maybe the characters are able to wear it too and like listen to the radio while not being in the car etc!

My comment will probably be lost but just wanted to say how much I just really appreciate this breakdown. I'm a pretty new viewer of the channel and you're quickly becoming one of my favourites. On what is and isn't CGI, I think that Rockstar historically have showcased pretty much finished graphics in first trailers. Either they're finished graphics or the final game comes out looking better so I don't think anything is CGI here

Honestly I kinda want rockstar to maybe make a realism mode for 6 (the base game could kinda be realistic but overall it’s still like GTA 5 a bit, realistic but still has that GTA charm) with this realism mode however the game could be revamped to be as life like as possible with many MANY details added to again make it so that you feel like your playing a simulation
