Grand Theft Auto IV is an action-adventure video game. It was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles on 29 April 2008, and for Microsoft Windows on 2 December 2008. It is the eleventh title in the Grand Theft Auto series, and the first main entry since 2004's Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Set within the fictional Liberty City (based on New York City), the single-player story follows a war veteran, Niko Bellic, and his attempts to escape his past while under pressure from loan sharks and mob bosses. GTA 4 has an open world design lets players freely roam Liberty City, consisting of three main islands.

As a former resident of New York, its hilarious listening to all the references to how NYC actually is and the amount of detail Rockstar spent creating their own version in this game.
As a person from the balkans it is so hard to hear their "Serbian". It is soooo bad lol so much cringe. They could have hired someone who can actually speak the language or drop the whole thing completely.

@@enterthevoidIi As an American, this is very common for English as well, you are simply not used to seeing other cultures representing your language. Heck, even the city I am from always has it's accent misrepresented by movies made in the same country! it's annoying but it's how it is.

I hate that this doesnt have a PS4 or PS5 port. My personal favorite GTA game.
Ikr and the PC version is so buggy, I just want Rockstar too port it to newer consoles with 60fps and just fixed the pc release because them gta 4 mods are so good.

nah they need to leave the games alone, every time they release new updated version of any game all they do is break the mod community by dividing it even further. Every version they have released for gta 4 only brought new hurdles and fragmentation to the mod community. While also removing content from the game each time. Multiplayer got removed on complete edition and overall every time they mess with the game its just to break it further.

I think it’s because Rockstar wanted GTA V’s driving to be easier for the bigger map, but in the end it felt too arcadey.

I replayed this game back in October and it’s such a masterpiece. I love how much deeper and darker the story is. And playing it on PC looks so much better. Thanks for playing this again, please make it a series!!! ❤

The best driving physics in a free roam game I ever played were a game called the Getaway black Monday
Best GTA singleplayer. The story and characters were really good for the time and the physics are still S tier. Loved this game on 360 back in the day.

Hello Hollow! I hope you turn this into a series. I know you don't plan to but it's worth it. Also, to get the most out of the story of Niko and the characters around him, you've gotta let them finish talking especially while trying to drive to one location to another. Love your content man.

How to fix Audio for this Video temporarily make sure you turn off Mono after
On Windows literally just search "Mono" after hitting the Windows key and its the first option that comes up. With Mac go to to System Preferences > Accessibility > Audio > Tick the checkbox for Play stereo audio as mono.
And after you're done watching the video just remember to disable the setting and you're good to go!
You can even do this on mobile, if you're on IOS go to Settings > Accessibility > Audio/Visual > Mono audio > toggle the switch on.
If you're on Android, it’s Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Enhancements > Toggle Mono Audio .

I agree that the car physics in this game we're the best I've ever seen when you drive slowly on the pothole field New York streets and see the suspension bouncing back and forth it is a sight to behold. It is a factor that drives gameplay, I really do hope they bring this back in GTA V.

Ah man the memories on GTA 4 multiplayer...one of the only games I actually bought all the DLC for. Lost and the Damned, Ballad of Gay Tony, man. GTA 4 was the best.
Man, I remember the first gta game me and my brother played. It was this game. Gta 4 was a great game. One of the best that Rockstar produced (in my opinion). My brother knew the cheat codes. Never told me haha. Good to see you coming back to this game. Stay well bro!

Damn i remember when you did a playthrough on this for the first time like it was yesterday, i checked back and its been nearly 5 years since. Crazy
I don’t care what people say, 4 is my favorite GTA. I liked the characters, i.e. Roman and Little Jacob for example, you felt for Niko, finding out he wasn't always a criminal but was swept into by the enviroment and circumstances he found himself in and he's only a criminal still because he feels it's the only thing he's good at. Especially at certain points where you decide if a certain character should be spared or not and if they deserve it. You get mission failed calls or cutscenes where 5 just had a "mission failed" screen which I thought was just lazy. The driving felt more grounded and realistic compared to 5, which just felt too smooth for me. BOWLING tbh, the first in HD, the fighting and shooting mechanics are much better than 5’s, in 5, you shoot twice and they die, in 4, they actually hold where they were shot, which I thought was realistic, no GTA Online bs, just at the airport dicking around with your friends, and the first one I played when it came out! I was 13. My mom got warned from the GameStop employee of course but even then she knew it was just fake fun and I wouldn’t be brainwashed by it. Thanks mom! P.S. I wanted the special edition but it turns out it was a pre-order only BUT a guy canceled his copy of it and I got the last one of the 360 version they had in stock! I was so happy! Plus The Ballad Of Gay Tony is my second favorite GTA, I loved the nightlife and vibe to it!

More than likely because theres no real monetization aspects to this game, GTA V has the online stuff, and the older GTA sells of nostalgia, though i’d argue GTA IV (for me anyway) is right up there, if not the best

@@oxxceyes the game is worth every penny bro definitely buy it. After you compete the story got to play the 2 dlcs. If you buy it on PC on steam you get the full collection. Forget how much it is but whatever the cost it's worth it
