You can tell when Judy gets that little smile she likes someone. It’s usually only reserved for children but the plaintiffs here were blessed with a few.
Me too! I despised her when I was a child. Now as an adult I’m so sick of the BS and I appreciate her cutting right through it! Judge Judy is a National Treasure.
Me too except I've always liked her. But now I love her. If you look at her earlier episodes she was so kind a patient. Now she just a grouchy old person. I love them all. They are not wasting what little time they have on nobody's foolishness!
My mom HATED Judge Judy, she just thought she was so mean and rude! Then again my mom really didn't like ANY courtroom shows, but she disliked Judy the most, so I kinda didn't like her either. That didn't mean I didn't try to sneak a few episodes when they were on! I just felt bad for the people on her show because she SEEMED so mean... NOW I totally get her method and realize she deals with a LOT of dummies and now I'm totally addicted to her show! 😁
This is the best channel for Judge Judy I subscribed to. The episodes are "as is." There is no close ups and fast angles that would makes eyes goes crazy. Those episodes are irritating.
Channels that do that are generally stealing or pirating the content. They do that to try and get around UA-cam's copyright detection system. The fact that this channel doesn't do that means that they're either okay with giving up monetization, or they own the rights anyways and have the receipts to prove it. If you see other channels do that to other shows/movies you like, it's because they're stealing the content to make ad money off of it.
That’s because this is the only channel that isn’t dodging copyright strikes because it’s owned by the production company. Also I’ve seen a lot of those compilations and they’re always the same cases over and over.
It's so clear the plaintiff witness is telling the truth because he just describes his sensory experience, ("I just heard a big crash", "I saw the car move down the street to the boulevard"). It's so rare to see on JJ, haha. It's usually completely editorialised "he had initially asked me to take his car, and I didn't even want to at first because I had given my brother a deposit, but there's no way I could have hit the plaintiff because I'm a single mom". 🤣
@@amberbiggs No idea, it makes no sense…. and it just continues to amaze me that these people go onto that show only to run into an absolute buzz saw a.k.a. Judge Judy and be almost completely unprepared. The producers must pay them an awful lot of money/accommodations to make it worthwhile for them to humiliate oneself like that….
I'm surprised she didn't just end it when they said the guy driving the car couldn't come. Usually if one party doesn't show up, the other wins by default.
I always pause the video whenever Judy's reading something, and I got an early look at the "answer." The judge was spot-on--it's like a parody of a joke you'd find in a bad sitcom. Just wait till you hear this! (In part 2, presumably...)
I definitely believe they swapped drivers but I can't understand why come back at all if you're not going to stop. I will always advocate for doing the right thing, but if you're going to do the wrong thing, don't compound it by being stupid. Either stop and exchange information or don't return to the scene to make sure people saw you do a hit and run.
The fools probably drove by to assess the damage. Crazy, I know, but I can picture it. The brother-in-law doesn't sound like the sharpest tool in the shed.
@@Mybpeterson right like this was exactly their thought process. They thought if the damage was too bad they could just keep driving and nobody would notice they were the ones who did it. 4 blunts to the face will do that to you.
This is a good one. The woman defendant is too cool. Part 3 final and she is not even surprised, no indignation. She got off easy. The con rule: win some, lose some. Oh well.
That exact thing happened to my car. It got hit and moved down the street, but no one saw it. The police couldn't do anything because there were no witnesses and I had to get it fixed on insurance.
So the defendant was already lying I'm glad Judge Judy caught that and why would she bring someone who was not the driver to court that was a waste. Since its her car and she lend it to her brother she needs to be responsible for the damages since she is the one in court defending him.
I’m less than two minutes in but I haven’t stopped cringing since the plaintiff started telling the story. He is looking away so much, I feel like everything is a lie.
WHERE HAD YOU BEEN? IS MY QUESTION? uhh (looking around) we uh we been over uhh at... Why dont you just admit you were buying drugs and be done with it?
JJ has some tricks up her sleeves to initimidate the litigants. I'm onto them though.. shshh, finger on lips, asking questions and preventing the person from responding, etc.
The Defendants were trying to pull a fast one on Judge Judy with the Brother Brother-in-law thing. I could not help but wonder if the one that was there was actually the driver, and if not, did the other have a suspended license, was under the influence of something and or paroled? Perhaps, if he showed up he probably would be arrested.🤔
Does anyone here ever watch “Idiots in cars” on YT? I’ll say one thing…. It’s a good thing for dash cams and RING door bell cams now!! Ppl are so stupid to think that driving off is not going to work.. someone is watching somewhere in some fashion.

She’s so full of shit to her brother was the one that crash the car first off that’s a hit-and-run which is a felony second if he could appear in court that’s also like that’s illegal you can’t do that if you get mad trouble for not even showing up to court if he was the one that really did to the damage
