This short video was shot using Canon EOS R6 and Tamron 150-600mm G2 lens at 600mm, handheld at Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh, India. The snake was trying to approach a nesting place of Lapwings and the agitated birds started chasing the snake away to save their eggs (or hatchlings). Finally, the rat snake had to move away from the nest and the lapwings did win the battle. The video has an original sound as it is.
