- Snowstorm Gail has covered New York City with over nine inches of snow. Walking during New York City's major snowstorm at 7AM, I was able to capture different aspects of the city. The video starts at the intersection of 7th Avenue (Fashion Avenue) and West 38th Street. Most small businesses were open for customers while others remained closed. New York City and private business employees cleared streets and sidewalks frequently. Walking during New York City's major snowstorm at 7 AM felt much harsher than the previous night.

Native here: I was around Washington square park during the peak of the storm. The christmas decorations, the brownstones, and the people on the streets taking videos made for a movie like scene. I love this city.

Beautiful New York City with all this God sent gorgeous snow fall. We were blessed here in Kansas City, Missouri with some White flakes of snow. We didn’t get as much as New York City, we’re thankful for what God gave us. It’s almost melted now. We’ll just wait because the season is here. 💦💦💦👏🏽💕

@@hashirhasankc My Father was very ill and my Mom thought it was best to be closer to her parents. He lived another 7 years but by that time we were settled in NC, so we stayed. I've been back many times but not recently.

Glad it didn't amount to much. I remember this one time (in Leland, MI) we were forecast for flurries and we got a foot of snow in a couple hours and the winds coming off lake michigan were brutal. That's one thing I don't miss about living on the coast of lake michigan. Brr.....

I know this was almost a year ago (it's now the end of September 2021) but I've just come across this video. I love anything with snow and I've really enjoyed watching this. I'm in England and we haven't been getting much snow (at least where I am) for some years. I get my "snow fix" by watching videos such as this. Thank you for the very cool video!

Stuck in Los Angeles and I thought it would be nice to see snow, But surprises of all surprises is that you walked right by a building that i lived in for a spring season, 488 on 7th. I "housesat" an apartment for two friends who were traveling back in the 1980s. When I saw you were near Broadway and 38th I thought about my visit there and you walked right by it. 9:44 What are the odds???!!!
