- A dear friend and fellow Christian brother, Aaron Wilburn, was a one-of-a-kind comedian, song-writer, and creative man who leaves a legacy of songs, thoughts, and priceless memories. His passing leaves a large hole in our hearts and a greater anticipation for the day when we will eternally unite with our Christian family to worship Jesus Christ forevermore.

I used to sing with Aaron back in 1972 in Huntsville, AL. My sister and I were backup and we traveled from church to church. No money but we loved being with the people and seeing lives changed. Aaron will truly be missed but can't wait to see him again.
What a treasure Aaron was ! We hope to see and hear him making heavens halls ring like he did here on earth !
We was blessed to have met this wonderful Godly man. He is missed by us all. I am sure he is keeping the angels in stitches.

I just heard about Carmen passing away and now I just st now heard about Aaron. Our loss is heaven's gain. Rest in peace.

Some years ago I stumbled on to Aaron's humor. Oh what fun! The purity of his soul mixed with clean creative humor brought and brings me holy laughter that I so love and need. Aaron along with Jerry Clower and of course many other clean comedians enrich my journey down here until The Great Day! Right now as I type I am on the back patio in Denton, Texas. I lift my eyes upward and say to Aaron, "Bless your heart". I hope it made him smile as he has done so for me and will do so when I revisit his humor and life. David, formally from Southern Californian and now living in North Texas closer to family in our declining and soon to be ascending years.
God so Blessed us through him. Thank you for sharing. Rest in your reward Aaron. 🙏

I'm just seeing this and i didn't know he died... He came to our church twice when i was in middle school and again in high school.. He was awesome very funny but serious about God at same time.

I loved his older songs: Mama Blues, Didn't We Papa, and the "soft like a kitten" song. Wore that tape out years ago. Such a beautiful voice!

This just came up on my Google. I'm sadden to hear this. I've been listening to him for sometime. But today I was watching him today 1/8/21. He was telling about the wedding of Ken and Barbie wedding. About taking time out. I can't help but cry. Oh he's going to be so missed on earth. But God has got one awesome angle.

I love his songs "The Dietin' Song" and "Mama, The Cat Ate The Gaithers." I didn't know he wrote the songs "Four Days Late" and "The People God Gives You." I also love his comedy bit, "The Weight Watchers Meeting."
