I think it’s really smart that we don’t see Polites, Eurylochus and Odysseus’ mother because we see how badly their deaths affect him throughout the musical (even though he’s starting to forget about Polites, which is why Polites’ voice is softer than Eurylochus and Odysseus’ mother’s)
Really appreciate that Odysseus hearing the voices of all the people that he's lost is just him. We don't see them at all. It let you to focus on his reaction. Goddamn that face.

The raw emotion and him being literally and mentally on the edge and how you portrayed him in 0:28 and then when he looks around him almost (or rather most definitely) crazed while screaming before calling out to Athena - CHEFS KISS Also apart from that, your art is so very pretty and the ghosts of Eurylochus, Polites and Odysseus's mother not being visible to us but Odysseus looking at their directions multiple times, underlining the state he is in, 11/10 clutching my heart
This is so heartwrenching. The way you drew Odysseus's eyes, first only haunting glimpses from behind his hair, then full blow despair as he broke right in front of us. I love how you didn't show any of the people whose voices he was hearing, but still his eyes kept moving between them, as Odysseus could so clearly see them. Then the scream of 'Athena' as he fell to his knees, * chef's kiss* of angst, masterful work! ^_^
Oh my GOD!!!! THE EXPRESSIONS?!??!??? I'm DEAD this is so good and Odysseus' face really captures his turmoil!!!! Aughh so good??? The way he looks around and like. Flounders??? Like straming to the void because he's just so helpless and the LAST PART!! where he shouts athena (which was my fave part ngl cause it's him calling for help to the only person (god??) he has left that can do something. It was desparate and so so good) you did that scene sooo well the way he KNEELS!!! I LOVE it!!!
THATS the faces im looking for, the crushing weight and haunting stare of his past followed by the face of a man whose mind once was his greatest weapon turned echo chamber of his greatest faliures and ended with absolute pure desperation. Perfect
I CONSTANTLY come back to this animatic, you did so well at making it seem like when he hears the voices, he's screaming out not only out of despair but like he's screaming out for them to hear him too. Its way you draw his eyes, his very SOUL is crying out for them to hear him, come back to him, and take him away from paradise.

My favorite animatic of this song, WIP or not. The sheer emotion of fear and grief you’ve gotten Odysseus to portray has me in tears. And then him collapsing calling to Athena is fantastic! Also you have it so we only really see both of Ody’s eyes while he’s screaming.
