I purchased this tent two weeks ago and used it for two nights. A very strong rain storm occurred the first night with very heavy rain and lightning. There was some fine misting felt during the storm but no leaks. Yes there is some condensation but in my experience with single wall tents not excessive. Staking it out was not intuitive. I did use a treking pole for the center support. For the record, I am 5`9" tall and have been backpacking for 50 years. My location is South Carolina. While the tent is not perfect, it fulfills my needs for a lightweight, economical and small packable shelter. Non of my gear was wet in the morning.

I purchased this tent two mnths ago.
I'm in the uk and we get plenty of rain.
It is a great back packing tent.
Yes it is a bit of a messed up design but it keeps me dry and I great for over night stays.
It is a light weight tent and is a small compact tent which easily fits snuggly into your back pack.
    I have no complaints.

Oh Jeez! Looks like a piece of you know what. I make my own gear, hammocks and tarps. Thinking of my own trekking pole tarp tent. My first thought was this is what I would make if I didn't put any thought or design into it. Just winged it. Cause I have winged a few projects and this it what they come out looking like. Keep it up Luke. Great channel.

Points for originality. Idk what the people who designed it were thinking, but at least the English description had some effort into it. They even gave a questionably helpful explanation of how to reduce condensation, which doesn't bode well for the test video, but at least they tried.

I wanted to tell you thanks. You reviewed the mongar 2 purple tent. I was comfortable with your assessment so I purchased one. I have used it in the Arizona desert and on the AT in NC and I love it. I am a senior female that backpacks, hikes, and camps alone. The setups is easy and fast. The size is perfect for me and my two dogs. And I love the color. Thank you for your information on the product.

Randomly bought this off Temu and im pleasantly surprised to be honest. Other than the guy rope locations its actually not a bad tent. Got myself and 2 small dogs in. Im 5’10.
Left it out overnight night in my garden knowing it was going to rain most of the night and to my surprise its bone dry inside. Scottish highlands, rains alot!
Buy a foot print for it and its an ideal cheap light weight backpacking tent.

Reminds me of this old South American, I think it was from Peru or Argentina, but it was a weird design tent that was like that. Some sort of isoceles triangle design and the thing was designed to be set up with the smallest space available. Never meant for Americans at all with our bigger frames. It was mainly used by miners and herders in the fields that set up camp between rocks and on ledges. My dad used it on our boat when he went out overnight.

The orange 2 person tent reminds me of my first tent when I was 14, from K-Mart, which was an A-frame plastic tent with a blue plastic floor, it had one small white mesh window at the back, it dripped water all night from condensation. I used sticks to hold it up, or two cheesy aluminum poles. LoL! Thanks for the review Luke, and a few giggles.

well luke i was thinking.... (it hurt a little) but i came up with a reason for this design. it is a multipurpose tent. it gives you the feeling of security while you sleep and you wake up refreshed like you just had a shower. then you drain all the water into your bottle and you have your drink for the day.

Most single wall tents (no rainfly setup) will have interior condensation.
I have a similar tent like that, but seems a better quality design and fit: the DD Tarp Tent.
It also can have interior condensation...I bought it for specifically as a very light (2-lbs), single overnight use on fly fishing trips. It serves that purpose well.

I bought this tent as a backup to my hammock tent. I agree it's more of a trekking poles bivy but that's why I bought it. The price is fair and the weight makes it a viable backup cover. I would rather sleep in this than under a tarp. More than likely I would have full screen open with my hammocks rainfly above it.

I bought a tent from a company similar to this one and tried to return it. I had to find out through pay pal how to do it. It would have had to be at my cost to send it to China with no guaranty of a refund so I kept it and pay pal also told me that companies like this get so many complaints that they frequently change the web address and name of the product so they can continue to sell it under the new name. They know that their product is garbage and they don't care. Cant wait to see the review. I gave my piece of garbage tent to my friend so his kids can use it as a fort. I think he finally took it to the landfill.

OMG, I have another version of that tent. Appy Trails. You should get one just for fun. Not you Luke, you've already reviewed this one.

Hey Luke! Hope you are good brotha! Just wondering… would you be willing to do a review on some truck tents? Cheers friend!

This looks like someone was watching those silly one pole tarp tents where someone takes a square and makes a three sided pyramid by dividing the square into four triangles and then folding away most of the fourth triangle… then sewing it together.
In fact you would be better off simply having a tarp and bug sheet, and then augmenting it with cordage, poles and stakes

Luke, when you do an overnight on this tent, go about 100 yards from the Tundra and have your escape plan to truck camp. Just leave it set up and write “FREE” on it after aborting the test. OMG what a hot mess this tent is.

I'm curious if you hang the top from a cord instead of using the trekking poll if it will improve the pitch. Either way a very strange design
