Had a few evos now & first thing is to grease the swing arm bearings, they can seize up pretty quick. Also do head bearings, the factory skimps on grease.
I do grease the swinger often when prepping after a heavy day. This will be coming in a later video but thanks for the info. We always appreciate the extra insight. As I am sure all of the Beta Evo owners watching this will. Cheers!
Am I being thick or on my BETA Evo Factory 300 4t 2020 the 2 bolts for the mudguard bolt straight into the airbox with no room to tiewrap it instead, at £110 to replace it I am eager to do this and "thank you later" lol.
Why does my 2023 beta factory have two breather tubes? One in the top of the tank and another one in the gas cap. Do I need both or can I get a gas cap without a breather?
I would highly recommend putting the stock gas cap back on. This is because the plastic cap is softer than the aluminum (I guess that's aluminium to you) frame that comprises your gas tank. If you were to accidentally cross-thread your new aluminum gas cap--and you wouldn't be the first--you would absolutely be hating life. No, I do not speak from experience.
I had to remove the stock fuel cap, as you could only remove with pipe grips! Got the same fuel cap as you, and had no issues in three years. Little tip, and sorry to teach you to suck eggs, always turn anti-clockwise, until you hear/feel a click, before turning clockwise. Then you won’t cross thread the cap.
What's your opinion on forward inclined footpegs? I've just bought my first trials bike, nothing special a 290 beta Evo and it came with forward inclined jitsi pegs and In some ways I like the purchase they give but I'm finding the bike has a woeful amount of rear grip in mud wondering if my weight is too forward... Or I'm just crap.
@@stan9636 Apologies mate and ig you continue watching through the series you will see us fit the bike with a full Arrow system and we definitely start her up then! Thanks for watching the videos!
Do the mud guard zip-ties really help keep the fender from breaking? I just got a lightly used '21 Evo 250 and I'm a noob -- so will be crashing/dropping. Would like to minimize damage where I can. I pulled the bolts (pins) and the fender still seemed quit firmly in place. Is it the airbox bolt holding it in the back?
Problem with trials is there's no good in for beginners.. i did it as a teen and then tried to get back into it as an adult... got the bike, joined a club but first event nearly killed me. was so intense just getting to the sections.. sold bike
Hi Andy, So sad to hear this and did you think about possibly looking to get some training? If you are based in the UK try out a place called "TrialsDay".
@@TrialTube Thanks. Would love to do a training day sometime. I've watch UA-cam training since and definitely learnt things i didn't know which possibly would have made my experience better.. Trouble is after buying a bike, trailer, fitting a towbar the car and buying all the clothing, then selling it all after one event, my wife would kill me of i even suggested giving it another go 😂

Cheers for the tips, fella. Waiting on my '22!!! Judicious use of zip-ties always welcome! Renthals and pipe, standard!
That’s the one just feed a tie wrap through the very small gap! It takes some doing but it is worth it
DANNY BOY! Who is the manufactured for the radiator flap & bash guard...Thanks 🇺🇸
I got both off eBay my friend. But I am sure you may be able to get something shipped from somewhere like Road and Trials
Hello mate. Its louder with S3? Or dame dB? Beachse I can't have loud bike here because of cops..
Looking forward to watching this grow! Love the bloopers 😂
Cheers bud we will keep working 🤘

Just saw you preform in Leicester doing stunts over bars and hoping of the to of your van
Haha awesome! Thanks for watching and this is something different but I hope you enjoyed both the video and the Mtb show!
Ummm bling! Not had Beta for years, but they are pound for pound best all rounder! Maybe now due a re fresh?
No time like the present!

Just get a CSP gas cap, That will sort you out. Also they have two breathers as the gas cap is taken from the older model. Standard Beta....

@@byronwilliams7956 Great tip and thanks for the input! No such thing as sucking eggs. All positive input is always welcome!
Where did you find the rubber flap to protect the mud going into the radiator?
Most UK trials shops stock then (we have awful weather)

Honestly in the begging you would better off on standards
Hi , do you have tips about the GasGas ? Thanks a lot. 😃
Will have to get one of those videos made but we do have a review video!
What brand bash guard did you install. The OE Beta guard is a PITA to install
It’s an eBay purchase form a shop down in Cornwall. Fits great!
Hey Danny, where can you buy the nifty rubber pad? Haven't had any luck finding any. Cheers
Oh wow, where are you based buddy and I will try and help?

@@darrynellis2709 ahhhh well maybe try BVM or Camio (trials shops) in the UK as we specialise in Mud!
@@TrialTube what's the brand / make of it?

Great job! Looking forward to seeing the rest of the videos!
Hi Mate What make are the foot pegs you’ve fitted please ?
In this video they were rapters but I run Hard Rocks now by S3
I decided to go for S3 Curve not tried them out yet, I was hoping you’d start the bike to hear the exhaust sound, what do you think of the S3 pipe

Nice looking 🏍 🤟🏾✌🏽
Thanks bro!
Which Fatbar model/bend do you prefer? Love the vids 👍
Standard rise (lower) S3 bar end
Watch till the very end loved the out takes lol so funny
Funny looking ??! Or Funny HAHA
How come you used the long s3 pipe an not short whats, the, difference?
The long is supposed to be for the larger CC so I was informed by S3 UK. 👍 Ot felt and sounded great though!
Nice little camio Moro sticker
Good dealer and friend!
How come you went standard EVO and not factory? Just curious...
The factory hadn't been launched yet when I go the next bike. Although that has for sure got me thinking. 👍
does this bike come with the side stand ?🤔
It does!

The zip-ties make a difference trust me! It always pops out at the back anyway.
Thanks, Danny. It’s hard to insert a zip-tie on the right side. Airbox is in the way. I’ll keep at it.

Mapping switch alters ignition timing. Whether bike has carb or fi isn't relevant to that.
You are of course correct, all they need to do now is make it actually make a difference to the feel of the bike..#justsaying
