My Aching Bach! I have not seen digging like that since World War1 and they were digging trenches to fight from.
Good job of thinking the underground work out and its planning. You have a great start with your project, keep up the good work.

Not sure why this popped up on my feed to watch but I'm all for it 😆. Well worth my sub here. I wish I could sell my home and go off grid 100%. Keep up the Great Work and Content. I cant wait to see more of this build.

Oh this is really nice. Are you building right on your main property? I asked because I I see what appears to be a home up on the hill in the background.
I just watched another video where a man built a very interesting outhouse off grid. I think he called it a dry flush toilet that was invented and made in France.
When I happened across your UA-cam page, I landed on the reveal. I'm glad I took the advice to go and watch this process from the beginning.

Yes, this is on our property where we live in the far end of our lot on our seasonal Craker near our offgrade cabin. Thanks for watching and thanks for supporting our channel please like and subscribe if you enjoyed ourcontent.

Rick, there's no question... you Were NOT Corps of Engineers! (LOL).... Where's Wendell Fertig when we need him?! While you created a lot of work for yourself, you got it done. Good job! (What... no trap door and a cutoff 55-gallon drum with a couple inches of diesel 'under the throne?' {i.e. Vietnam era latrine}). Pull up BUSHRADICAL's channel. Dave Whipple has a recent video of installing a hand pump well. With that stream nearby, you shouldn't be that high above a water table, and clean, fresh drinkable water would be a nice addition. OK, on to Part 2....

Ya I do watch his channel, he is in the UP in Michigan with sandy soil and a high water table, we are in the forest with rock and higher elevation. Spike well is a no go where my site is located unfortunately. Thanks for the engagement and your comments. They are much apprciated!😁

That's not going to work. You're too shallow and any extended water usage such as a shower will over saturate the hole.

Thanks for the comment D. Johnson. I hope your wrong, fortunately this shower will be infrequently and sporadically used. If it does wash out down in the hole it’s in a downhill area of no consequence, so I can re-dig and rebury if necessary.
