It is a fact that many pastors resign pastorates within a few years. This is a very timely message. Some pastors are bi-vocational and facing tragic family problems and sincerely trying to be faithfull with their pastorates. It is no picnic working nite shift for years, "fatigue" is the word.! As an evangelist and worked nite shift in a major telecommunications company, I know exactly what this speaker is saying. Working nites for years is very difficult no matter how many naps one takes during the day. I had to get Christain professional counseling back in 2000.

So very good! Hope this message lands on those who are in the midst of the battle & find restoration to a whole mind/spirit.

Men can many times “tuff it out”…. but Minister’s wives are the ones who suffer the most.. Families suffer…. It doesn’t happen all at once.. but after several years. Sad that people feel no way out, and then go to the extreme.. this IS NOT God’s will! All we can do is hide it and keep on smiling! Lord help Us!

I have been there! I was working niteshift for years, always felt fatigued, and taking care of a long distance caregiver situation. Plus I was doing street preaching here in NYC. I had to get Christain counseling back in 2000.

    Nathaniel X
Mental Health is more common than some believe. A College known as the Harvard of the South reported a female student caught in the 9th Ward of New Orleans. Why? Her actions eventually lead to the death of her mother weeks after her graduation with a master's degree in Social Work. People caused the mother's Death, Her spouses Depression, and the Anxiety of her Family members. The young lady had been raped as a 14-year-old in an Arkansas Upward Bound Program. Going after the rapist would destroy others. So, we look away.

Food is an angle that is missed most of the time. But it is a very big contributor to health problems of all kinds. Something that wasn't mentioned, is processed sugar, artificial food coloring(especially red), flavorings, even most "natural flavorings" preservatives, dough conditioners are all terrible for you. God didn't make factory food....
