  • Hi, everyone, I'm Jiun.
I just thought it would be fun to share with you, in detail, all the series and trilogies I would love to read. They are too many, and now I am thinking that maybe, I'm not that interested in reading some, as much as I was in the past.
But anyway, who knows? One thing is sure, this will take my whole life.
I hope you can share what are your favorite series you are planning to read.

And I thought I had a lot of fantasy series I want to read ,haha. I loved watching about all your future reading plans. L.E. Modesitt Jr books always capture my attention because of the covers too.
I’ve read the His Dark Materials books years ago and although I liked them, I didn’t love them. I did really enjoy the recent TV series though and would recommend reading the books if you’re going to watch that. Didn’t enjoy the movie made years ago though.
Ender’s Game is one I liked but didn’t love enough to want to read any more books in the series.
I keep telling myself not to collect any more series to read but there are SO many great sounding ones.
Hope you enjoy your future reads!

That's the problem, there are too many series, and there is always a new one that looks interesting. Most of the books I want to read, belong to one of those collections (Ultramar, SF masterworks colleciton, Hugo or Nebula award). But I confess many books, like L.E. Modesitt Jr. books, just call my attention because of the covers. I have one book with short stories, and I can't say I enjoy them, some were militar books (Because I think he fought in Vietnam, not sure). But I hope those series are epic. If I happen to read Dark Material, which is not in my near reading plan hehehe, I will definitely read the books first. And I'm also not so conviced to read Ender's Game. It's just I think I am a completionist, that can't leave an uncompleted series hehe except, if I end up disliking the series.

I love creating files in Excel. I love creating files and folders and stuff like that hehe, I love creating lists. I'm 40, so if I'm blessed with a long life, I can read all those book. The problem is that, if there is some one coming with a new recommendation, like a book called "Jerusalem", it makes my tbr longer hehehe, Joking,
Look, if you have seen my video called We need to talk, then you will understand my dilemma, because I really want to read Shogun. And I would love to participate in your buddy reading... but I can't hehe.
I will check the videos about The expanse. Oh I have also heard some similar comments about the books by Pulllman.
oh.. Terry Goodkind. ok, I'm not expert in the field. But what I know it's that his personality is the problem hehe. I'm not sure but I think he said his books are not fantasy, but something different, which in other other words, we meant something better hehee. And about the Star wars, after watching the movies, and getting deeper into the story, it's when I felt I wanted to read about the setting and the plot. But I'm in the "Dilemma", so I can't say more of those readings hehe.
