really nice tutorial. as usual. i would love to see your workflow on the projects that you work on, explaining what exactly you want to achieve, and what do you do to get the result that you want. i've seen some people use some software that shows what keys you press for a shortcut, i thing that can be useful for us as well.
Yes, there been a couple of readjustment on how to create those materials, it looks like the Metalness setting have been incorporated into the generic material :)
Hi. i have some questions. 1- for reflection slot we have to use pure black and white bitmap for metalic roughness workflow? or we can use gray bitmap for reflection slot in metalic roughness workflow too? Because I saw many people who do not use bitmaps for reflection slot in metalic/roughness workflow and only use pure white or gray color. 2- if i use graybitmap in refl slot, the result much better than pure colors (metalic roughness workflow)? I wanted to know if there is any problem if we use the gray bitmap in the reflection slot in the metalic/roughness workflow? 3- For example, concrete material that does not have a pure white reflection like glass and is in the gray range. And also concrete does not have constant reflection in all points of its surface, and it is better to use bitmap for refl slot for (metalic roughness workflow)? 4- Do you gray bitmap in reflection slot for material such concrete or wood materials? (that do not have a pure reflection color like metal and glass) on their surface. In the past, I mostly used specular gloss workflow, and in specular gloss workflow i see most of the people use bitmap in refl. on the other hand i see most videos that dont use refl bitmap in metalic roughness workflow. looking forward to see your answer. thanks alot for your help.
Hi, can someone help me? I'm trying to follow the guide but my vray doesn't show the "create PBR material" option, it shows just the generic material and right after it the emissive material option, but I don't know why (my version of vray is the 5.00.02)
Yes, there been some slight changes. If you check under the reflection tap you will see the parameters for surface control. You can switch between roughness / glossiness. Also the metalness setting is there. THats is the new video coming up this week 😊
Yes, I think this is the general workflow for any material. Although this as changed slightly in Vray 5. I'll be showing how to create materials in vray 5 on next video :)
Please also make videos on pbr tile settings stone ground and please also tell me about what file I have to download there are two options . Work flow .... specular and metalness so I have to download all of these and tell me about the resolution you have 3k pbr working on that right here in this video so there we have other option 6k 8k tell me what is best what if we download 3k
Usually the Higher the resolution the better results, but also the longer it takes to render. Many sites offer different resolutions, just depends on the level of quality your trying to achieve. A PBR Tile will follow the same workflow as i did for the materials shown in video. Unless there is something new to show, that maybe it can make it in a different video. :)
The PBR is no longer available in VRay 5. The generic material is now optimized to create both metalic and non metalic material. Under reflection tab you will see new surface control and Metalness parameters. :) This is the next video on the channel this week. :)

U are the best , i had so many questions about maps and u solve them ALL in 8 mins ! Its just incredible, thank u so much!
Thank You Alexey! I appreciate the kind words. :)
EXCELLENT CONTENT
Thank you!
You deserve a million likes

Thank You, Very happy to read your comment :)
U r the first I like the way you teach there are so many but they cannot teach as well as you
Thank you, its been a crazy few months but videos will resume shortly.
Hope to see more of your vray for sketchup videos. :)
Thank you! what topics would you like to see covered :)
@@TN3DStudio Hi, I would like to see some tutorials about how to use render elements and what are there uses.
You are too good to be true
Thank You Boules :) Stay tuned for New videos
Very useful information for me as beginner in Vray, thanks Alor sir
Your Welcome!
Besides it is a clear and easy to understand video, it is very informative and usefull. I will use the info in my next project. Thanks alot Tony.
Glad the content is helping Richard and Thanks for the positive Feedback, I really appreciate it :)
I recently watch your older videos and it is easy to catch up and learn I hope you can share more knowledge about rendering in vray
Doing my best to manage, :) But I'll keep sharing. Glad the video helped
Clear and easy to understand:) Thank you for sharing your knowledge :)

Thank you for this great video, so helpful in understanding the workflow! Just curious about the height map, where does it normally go?
Thank You Catalin, the height map is used on the Displacement. I show a chart at 0:44 with all the textures and where to use them :)
@@TN3DStudio ah, got it! thank you!
😁
Vray 5 removed the PBR option from creating new materials?
Yes, couple changes to material workflow and new additions. Video coming soon 😊
I have the same problem.
Thank so much ! but in the Vray 5 , pbr material not see, hope you make video in the future

Please suggest me the video you make on pbr stone tile and things like that
If you mean to create a tile material its pretty much the same workflow. :)
great tutorial! can you share the sketchup scene file for test render? thanx in advance!
Thank you, I'll post it on my site :)
@@TN3DStudio can you share a link to it? pls

Hi, try understanding the user interface first, the videos on the channel should start to make sense if you know your way around vray.
I can to work the SketchUp all. But I am to rendering My project.I can't .I download vray 5.I don't know how to the render.
