Original movies are made every year, people just don’t go see them. Lots of original movies were released during this year, and yet, people still complain about no original movies. If you’re looking for original movies next year, watch Elio, Mickey 17 (which stars Robert Pattinson), and Animal Friends. Oh yeah, even if the HTTYD movie got some hate, there are still people I've seen who are going to watch this and don’t care what others say.
