The symmetry in some of these plants is intriguing. So many interesting patterns found throughout the plant, animal and fungi kingdoms. Blows my mind.

Love those root beers !! Very cool!! And boy! Those obesa X symetricas really came out great!!! Great little plants. That 5 head mihanovichii is nice!!!! I know what you mean by those spidermites!! Seems like anything soft ( lophos) are on the top of the list!! Love the long spined gymnocalycium!! The combination of long spines & textured ribs are awesome!! Great that you got another " v " type astro out of those seedlings. Makes the loss easier. Thanks for sharing Daz!!! My G. stellatum is about to flower for the first time!! I'm so excited, i even have my time lapse camera ready to start taking pictures. I'm going to post the time lapse on my channel when i've completed it. It's going to be me first/second video. 😄

Beautiful Daz, I especially love all those Gymnocalyciums which I have until now completely failed to grow successfully from seed. Perhaps time for me to try again, as they are small plants I shouldn't have too much trouble making space for them. Happy growing to England and Singapore from Northern Spain 🙂🌵💚

Have you tried some rosemary/peppermint type "insecticide" I've had great success with IPM using the herbal oil extract with a sprinkle of yucca. Keeps most pest away especially mites and gnats. Though if mites are a constant issue, it could be an external source that you may have overlooked that's bringing them in. Hope that helps some, cheers.

Nice plants, did you lose the v-type "indoor" or outside in the greenhouse?

Beautiful plants as always! I got a gymno with a tiny offset that started to put out a flower spike?!😮 No idea if that is normal. Also does damsii grow slower than mihan?
Yeah Gymnos can do some weird things sometimes haha. I've found damsii to be a little slower growing than mihanovichii, yes. Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌸🌼🌺🏜
I've got a question, what do you use to get rid of bugs on your cactus ? Is there one you would recommend ?
I mainly use a mixture of 70% isopropyl alcohol mixed with afew drops of horticultural soap. That's good for keeping spider mites under control. Thanks for watching and commenting 🌵☀️🌺🌼🌸🏜
