Recently I ate my mustard streak flowers that where inside under a grow light where no bees could get them and they tasted like amazing honey and where bright yellow!!!
Marty Great growing tips once again, I try not to miss one video as I always learn something even after all these years. Have a Great Gardening Day. Cheers Denise at Geebung😃😃
Instead of all those plastic ties you could use stainless steel tie wire. Small rolls are only a couple of bucks. I paid around $10 for a 100-metre roll from a scaffolding company. Can't wait to see plants growing up that trellis. Cheers!
Cheers Aaron, the Victory Garden is still in it's early stages. Be interesting how the rest of the world look at this type of garden when they come into their grow season. Be nice to see other countries take it on
I changed the potting mix for an African basil clone i mistakenly cloned in a pot that had root bound roots leftover from the previous plant so i changed the soil to fresh potting mix with no old roots in the pot and hopefully it will be happier now so i can eat it after summer!
I'm putting in mustard lime streaks with coriander because they take the same amount of time to grow and they say coriander will assist the life of brassicas also so I'll let them share a pot! My annual basil on the window sill in a window box is tall and nice looking too plus I have a small purple basil from a mystery basil mix I don't know what it is but it looks nice! My African basil under the grow light in the 50cm pot is booming nicely with huge amazing trunk intersections and colourful big leafs and my mint peppermint is growing great and I just got Russian kale to sprout and will try get a strong Russian kale to keep for winter!
I just rode my Apollo go all the way home 25ks ride! I think with hills with the charging pedal battery regeneration break the battery bars was going down a bar up the hill then up a bar again after going down the hill! It's nice ay! I got home with 2 bars left!

I am excited to see them grow up the trellis also and over the roof. So much fresh food on the way!
Your the best Marty! Nice grow dome frame there!
Thanks! It's going to be amazing once they start growing vert!
@martysgarden can you grow passion fruit over the frame?
I am looking forward to seeing the veggies climb.
Me too, it's getting close!
Awesome, the only way up is going vertical. The Victory garden is really starting to take off, up up and away.

Wow, you got some awesome edibles growing. I like the concept of Coriander growing with Brassicas!
Reminds me of a garden criss cross fence canopy/screen from school. It always had grapes growing on it.
Grapes, got me thinking bro!

Hello Marty
Planting Vertical 😊Maybe Saturday Live?😊
Not sure mate, maybe surfing. Need some R&R
@@martysgarden Yep make R & R plus wife a priority mate you help many but also look after number 1 and those precious to you life is short
@ yep 100% good advice. Day off tomorrow
@@martysgarden Watch out for sharks man, they like eating surfers that eat healthy greens.
Awesome work, where do you buy the corner frame slots?
Local co op i got mine
Hey Marty thanks for the tips. I am wondering what the frame is built from, it seems quite tall. I can only get maximum 1800 stakes at Bunnings
It's the 1.8 m tom stakes. I am 5ft 2 so looks bigger
@martysgarden hi thanks for that, so are they just sitting on top of the ground, not driven in any distance?
how do u htink drilling holes in the steaks and instering a dowel to hold the cross beams on would go ?
That would work, bit harder to pull it down though if you need to
Are yu gunna hang string lines from the roof?
Maybe
Maybe grow passion fruit?
Yer, they are on a tree right near the Victory garden. I plan on showing this in a future video
@martysgarden yuuuuuummmmmm!!!! Grow black Berry's too!!
Gunn’a grow grapes ?
Maybe next season, ore somewhere else
✌️😎
Cheers
